I am shocked to see the positive reviews here. Getting my eye exam & contact lense exam at Laguna Eyes Optometry has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had - and I have been wearing contact for over 12 years and seen several optometrists.
It all started from the very first day I made my appointment. I gave the receptionist my insurance information. I wanted to be sure my insurance would cover my eye/contact lense exam. The receptionist assured me she would call me if there was something that my insurance wouldn't cover. She never called me so I figured everything was good to go only to be asked to pay $95 AFTER I got my exam. It was explained to me that an eye exam costs $150 and the contact lense exam is an additional $95. These prices are absolutely OUTRAGEOUS compared to any other optometrist I've been to. They are asking $245 for an eye exam/contact lense exam?? I've never paid over $90-$100.
Oh and let me mention that the "high grade technology" they claim they use didn't work the day I got my exam.
I was willing to accept their mistake and eat the $95 and chalk it up to miscommunication, because I always give people the benefit of the doubt, but that was only the beginning of my problems.
To make a long story short, they tried to refrain from giving me my prescription by playing games - giving me the wrong prescription, giving me a glasses prescription instead of my contact lense one (may I remind you I paid $95 for it??) and saying they faxed it when they hadn't. About 3 weeks later I was finally able to get my prescription only to find that when I went to get it filled Dr. Harrison had restricted me to getting a 6 month supply instead of a year. This has NEVER happened to me before!! The lady trying to fill my prescription said she had never seen that before and could make no sense of it.
I know this is a long review, but I wanted you all to know the HELL I have been through so no one else had to go to these unethical, overcharging scam artists and have the experience I had.
In conclusion, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DR. HARRISON TO ANY OF MY CO-WORKERS, FRIENDS OR ANYONE I REMOTELY CARE ABOUT. Consider yourself forewarned!!
Absolutely the most professional and knowledgable doctors and staff! I am very impressed by the experience from the moment one walks in to the moment one walks out. The greeting, directions on paperwork, the explanation of every procedure before examination during and after shows the care and knowledge of the staff. I recommend this office very highly to anyone who wants quality and care.
The staff ofan office reflects the way things are run.I must compliment Dr. Harrison for her choice in her staff. They are highly knowledgable and most fun! I felt I was a PERSON not a dollar sign. Great service, Great people!
I have never felt compelled to write a review before but Laguna Eyes is such a great business, I must share! My whole family now goes to Dr. Harrison. My children feel so welcomed and comfortable at the practice they ask to go. Dr. Harrison spends an extraordinary amount of time with each patient and I really appreciate how thorough each exam is. I would recommend this business to all families.
The most technologically advanced Practice I have ever seen! The amount of time spend in testing and accumulating infromation to give me the best occular evaluation, is second to none in my opinion. The contact lenses with which I was fitted with have changed my life!!, Thank you so much Doctor Harrsion
My experience was very good with Dr. Harrison. I got a very thorough exam with a picture of my eye. And my glasses were perfect. I would always recommend him.

I would never go back to Laguna Eyes Optometry and I wouldn't recommend Laguna Eyes Optometry to anyone.

Our entire family has been patients of Laguna Eyes for over 30 years. We travel from Northern CA to their office for exams and glasses once a year. Over the years their office has always been friendly, helpful, and professional. I have diabetes and they take extra time to ensure I am aware of the potential problems I could encounter if I didn't take care of my diabetes or eyecare. Without Dr. Bill and Dr. Alicia, we would be at a loss for eyecare.

If anyone is looking to really get the most technologically advanced occular evaluation , this is the place. Both Doctors are specialist in their field and are highly respected . Their staff are very carefully selected to educate and actually care for their patients. I followed their advice on the newest digital lenses and I recommend everyone to get them!! The difference in my vision with these lenses and what I was wearing is like night and day. Absolutely the best, Thank you
I've never seen such amazing technology for an eye exam. Dr. Alicia Harrison spent more time explaining my eyes to me than anyone ever has. I have astigmatism and I've never been happy in my contacts. She fit me in the most comfortable and clear lenses I've ever had. All of the front desk people were extremely friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend Laguna Eyes Optometry to all of my friends and family!!

I would never go back to Laguna Eyes Optometry (Dr. William Harrison or Dr. Alicia Harrison) and I wouldn't recommend Laguna Eyes Optometry to anyone. Unnecessary and expensive tests and confusing billing.
