It is always the responsibility of the patient to know what their insurance does or does not pay for. Know what you have before you use it, that way there is no buyers remorse.

Patient Beware!! This is a very long review, but you must read to the end to see the malpractice that was done in my case. This dentist is an inexperienced amateur compared to many of the other dentists I've been to. If you need real dental repair, do not go to this scam artist. The office has all of the latest, high tech equipment, but the dentist is really the one that makes or breaks the business. Went in for my ??free? evaluation and after waiting for 45 minutes, I told the receptionist that I had other commitments and needed to leave, so I scheduled another appointment for the evaluation. Got to the appointment and waited for about an hour before finally getting in for the evaluation. During the evaluation, I informed the hygienist that I had a broken filling that needed to be fixed. Marcello looked and stated that it would be best to get a dental exam and x-rays before repairing the tooth. Okay, no problem, but the next available appointment was a month out. When I got to the appointment, I waited again for 30 to 45 minutes before finally getting the exam. Marcello informed me that I needed a crown. Okay, no problem, BUT, he did not tell me for which tooth I needed a crown on, so I assumed it was for the tooth with the broken filling. After arriving for my appointment, I finally got into a room (after waiting again) and someone swabbed numbing agent (I assume Novocain) on the outside of my gums. Later, Marcello finally arrives and gives me a shot of, I assume Novocain, on the INSIDE of the gum ?? ouch!! Okay, after sitting in the chair for over 1-1/2 hours, over the staff??s lunch break, I am finally done and good to go (I thought). I get in my car and proceeded to look in the mirror at the new crown. Much to my surprise, the crown was on another tooth, two teeth away from where I needed the broken filling repaired. By this time, I am ready to hit the roof!! I walked back into the office and talked to Marcello. He gave me some B.S. excuse that this tooth looked like it needed immediate attention, but the one with the broken filling was the one bothering me. Anyway, the crown cost me $800 out of my pocket!!! Yes, nothing but a rip-off artist!!! This is not the end of it. The crown never felt quite right, and I started having major problems with it about a month afterwards. It was (and still is) very painful to eat on and it got so infected that my jaw swelled. Had to get a large supply of antibiotics to get this straightened out. I have finally found a professional dentist in the area and highly recommend Dr. Dickert.
