By far the greatest Yoga studio I've found. \r

Perfect for an old beat up lacrosse player and marathon runner who's been introduced to the wonders of yoga. I still feel somewhat new to yoga so new studios can be quite intimitdating

This is a fantastic place to develop your mind, body and spirit! I've been on a quest for a new studio and finally found a home at the Yoyo studio. The atmosphere is friendly and the teachers are out of this world! At first, I thought that parking downtown or getting over the river would be a challenge but that isn't the case at all! I never have trouble parking and even if I did, honestly, I'd deal with it. The studio is just THAT good! It's also super reasonably priced and the owners cultivate a family feeling that welcomes people from all walks of life. Seriously, give it a try!

This new yoga studio is a happenin' place! Teri and Alex are amazing......they have created an inspiring environment in which to practice yoga and they cater to everyone right where they are at. I go to the early morning class and every time I go, I can feel my body change. We are so blessed to have them here in Portland!

I LOVE YoYo Yogi. I haven't been to a whole bunch of studios (unlike the owners, Alex and Terri, who went to over 100 studios doing research before they opened this one!), but I know what I like when I see it! YoYo Yogi is warm, comfortable, welcoming, clean, completely unpretentious, and has a whole lot of heart. It even has all the creature comforts you could want, like filtered water, Manduka props, showers, cubbies, changing spaces, and even a place for members to store their mats. I love the diverse offerings (hatha, yin, power, acro, restorative, and more all in the same studio? HUH??), and the teachers are amazing.

Seriously, try it. You'll feel at home and like you belong the moment you walk in the door. :)

I just took my first class of Yoga at YoYo Yogi, what an awesome experience! I've always wanted to take a Yoga Class, but have been so intimidated, worrying that I would not fit in. The owners and staff reassured me that my chosen class for the evening "Easy Breezy" would be perfect and it was. My instructor led the class with such ease meeting the needs of every individual. I can't wait to go back!!!

This is a great studio with the best owners and instructors I have ever encountered. I have tried other yoga studios that were very nice but this place makes you feel like family. It's a joy just to walk in the door and be greeted by the presence of their positive vibrations. They don't just teach yoga ,they live it in a way that makes you feel the compassion and contentment of their teachings...

This is the yoga studio I've been waiting for!

After my beloved teacher moved away a few years ago, I've struggled to find the right location in NW/Pearl Portland where every studio seems to focus on HOT yoga.

YoYo Yogi is everything I want in a yoga studio: Wonderful owners, amazing instructors, non-competitive, loving, healing, nurturing, challenging-if-you-want-it, and inspiring yoga. There are two warm-but-not-hot, beautiful, and perfectly clean yoga studios, changing rooms, bike storage, showers, cubbies in the studio for your stuff (l love this!), and a place to leave you mat if you get hooked like I did and decide to keep returning multiple nights per week.

Brooke's Inspired Flow class on Tuesdays and Thursdays is a dream! At other studios I feel like I'm running on a treadmill to get to the next posture. At Yoyo Yogi, the focus is on the transition: being in the moment, the strength and awesomeness of that. I love it!

No matter your prior yoga experience, you will be welcomed and warmly greeted by owners, staff, and fellow students like no other studio I can think of!

YoYo Yogi is a great place to just "be." Terri and Alex are so warm that you'll feel at home after just the first class. They have an introductory offer of $28 for unlimited classes the first month. So go ahead and try them out! They are right across the street from Mio Sushi and around the corner (share building space) from Barista. (Best coffee around). You will love the space and the instructors are so knowledgeable. I know you'll find this your new yoga home. I did.

For anyone who has ever walked into a yoga studio and felt out of place, THIS STUDIO IS FOR YOU.

Give it a go. The owners are always there and always smiling. They honestly care about everyone who walks in the door. That energy transfers to their students.

This is the most UNINTIMIDATING place I have ever practiced. It really doesn't matter if you don't own $100 yoga pants or can't touch your toes. It is about being good to your body, mind and spirit and having FUN while doing it.

If you have never done yoga before, try Terri's YOGA VIRGINS class. She's easy to follow and is open to helping everyone!

I have been able to try most of the yoga studio?s on the west side and they are all great. But Yo Yo Yogi just has something really special going on. I have been practicing yoga off and on for two years but now I put more effort into my practice while having more fun than ever at the same time since I have joined. The owners are great people and I really like all the instructors. There is something for everyone here and I plan on being a member for a long time. Thanks again you guys!!!!
