SCAM ARTIST!! This is a warning: this guy, Gordon Smith, is a crook. He was run out of Wilmington by the magistrate who issued a warrant for his arrest for scamming folks. Look up "Dr. Hot Tub" Wilmington, or just look at all the local reviews. Fraud is his specialty. First, he incorrectly "repairs" your hot tub, immediatly deposits your check, then tries to charge you even more to correct the sham job he did the 1st time. If you want your money back, good luck!

Above The Rest Hot Tub & Pool Repair, tech??s name is Gordon, is the most unprofessional repair man in business. He came out to our home, took a few minutes to look at the tub, and explained that we needed a new spa pack by balboa. This part would take several days to arrive. He said that he had to have a $400.00 deposit to order the VS501GS spa pack. Gordon did not call back for several days, when he did call. He was saying that his wife was sick, needed drugs, and that his dog was dying with cancer. He told me that he would be here Saturday, Aug 13, 2011. The day came and went with no show from Gordon. I tried calling him several times, which he never returned the phone calls. Now, today is Aug 15, 2011, he will not answer his phone and will not return a phone call. I am assuming that he has stolen the $400.00 dollars and that he does not plan on returning. My final action is to go to the magistrate and take out a warrant for his arrest. Do not use the company!!
