The food is disgusting. Way overpriced for what they give you. I had fish and it was overcooked. The rice was like - UNCLE BEN'S. The only good thing was the fried plantains. The yucca was tasteless. I ordered the special - fried fish for $7.95. When the bill came I was charged $14.95 for the dish. The black beans had pieces of pork and what looked like potatoes in them. I couldn't eat them. They brought out a small pathetic salad. I asked for lemon and oil dressing - she brought oil and vinegar. She said the salad had olives in it - it did not. When I asked for a side of black beans, I asked if they had them with chopped onions, etc. The server said yes and then brought out these disgusting looking beans with pork and some unidentified lumps in it (potato?) The server didn't come by after bringing the food to ask how everything was. Several times my guest asked for lime and the waitress went away and sat down. Then she brought back lemon and lime. My fish was breaded whiting, WAY overcooked, fishy and disgusting with BONES in it. The flan was more like cheesecake and just OK. Like I said, the best thing they have is the plantains, but they are easy enough to make. Oh and they had the nerve to charge $9 for a small appetizer of fried yucca. Haha... $50 later and I will never again set foot in the place. What a shame. By the way we were the only people in there 8pm... Really pathetic. Don't waste your time. My prediction is that they'll be out of business within the next few months. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. P.S. My dinner guest became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea within hours of eating there. She thinks it was the pork she had there. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Simply a 5Stars eatery! Especially to an old islander who has eaten great & original island food! And this includes restaurant food! But Ms Ivy is simply serving 'comida de su casa' in her restaurant! IVY La Magnifica! I say! IVY provides the greatest Boricua fonda this side of RICON! If she had Cervesa India, I would have thought I was in Ricon!!
Un millon de gracias IVY!

Best Paella I ever had and for under $30 for two.
All food cooked to order, but worth the wait. Staff is very friendly and informative.
Truly Puerto Rican food - Mofongo, Tostones, Cod Fish, Pernil, Empanadas, Maduras, and of course homemade flan.
Prices a little bit high but the food is so flavorful and rich.
