While driving on Base I'd seen the ""Spengler Country"" billboard. I called Spengler as well as other companies for estimates for jobs for comparable services. There were large discrepancies so I took the mean in the estimates and am very pleased with the result. As my spouse is deployed I establish our family and I am responsible for ensuring that our household is upheld. I have asked a lot of questions and heard a lot of responses about Union Plumbers and Military Discounts. My local and military neighbors have warned me not to utilize this plumbing company. Please consider other companies... talk with other military families. The individual portrayed on the billboard does not support the military community as the represented. My family is quite pleased not to be in Spengler Country.

After having Spengler come out to my house and clear a clogged sewer drain, there was some issue with the pricing. After addressing my concerns and questions with their customer care department, they escalated my inquiry to the Director of Operations. He listed to my discussion points and took the high road in finding resolution. I am very pleased.

I would recommend Spengler Company.

I'm a DIYer, but I know my limitations. The Spengler Company recently completed a comprehensive remodeling of two bathrooms in our home. We are eager to tell you how pleased we are with the results. Their consultant, Bob, listened to our objectives and discussed the options. He was very patient and played a critical role in the outstanding results. Keith, the carpenter is a consummate master craftsman! Perfection was his goal and he achieved it. Master plumbers, John and Ched, were superb. Their part of the install was seamless. We are 100% satisfied and we got great value for our money!

The project was completed on time and as quoted. Chris and Ched were friendly, clean (can't even tell they were here!), and informative regarding the tankless water heater and Easy Water system. Thanks so much for a great job!

The lady I spoke to on the phone was very friendly. The technician, Jim, was very thorough and he explained everything he was doing on my furnace. He got me up a going. I was so impressed I purchased their maintenance agreement. I'll always use Spengler for my heating and cooling and if I need a plumber, they'll have that business too!

Spengler Plumbing has been nothing but a great company to do business with. I have had issues with my bathtub not draining and other plumbing issues. I am a single parent and to be able to call them and be there when they say are is such a great thing. Spengler Plumbing and their service is one of the great things about being in the midwest. Great service from a great company because they actually care about their customers. Thank you !

Pros: Great on-time service

Spengler Plumbing recently did some remodeling to my bathroom. First, I had a consult, where two men came to my home to access my situation. What I loved about this visit is that they really took the time to understand my needs and made suggestions that suited my budget. They didn't try to upsell on products or do unnecessary work, they did exactly as I needed. Second, within a short period of time, they were back with the parts and did the job to perfection. They were on time, neat, and seemed to really enjoy their work. I was kept in the loop on everything that was going on, too. Within the day, the job was finished and the work looked fantastic. Also, about a week later, they did a follow up to make sure I wasn't having any issues. I couldn't ask for better customer service. I would highly recommend them to anybody in need of a plumber. I will certainly use them again.

Pros: Payed special attention to my needs

I am a Do It Yourself home repair guy and it is rare for me to hire any company to do a job I feel I can handle. Recently I was leaving for vacation when the bowl wax ring in my toilet gave out, broke the floor below, and the ceiling of my finished basement. I had no time to take care of it myself and would not be home to supervise the work. I called Spengler since they had a weekend number and they sent someone right out. A quick review of the project and an estimate was ready. I thought it was a little high, but this is from a DIY guy. \r

I left with confidence it would be taken care of, but knew I would come back and question the work as it was not my own. Oh was I wrong. I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the rotten floor boards were replaced and the wood finish blended perfectly. I went down below expecting a hole in the ceiling, but again it was patched flawlessly. The toilet was sturdy and no more leaks. \r

I was expecting a plumber to come in and take care of the toilet, but they had a crew out including a carpenter to ensure my home was back in the condition before the leak. In hind sight the bid was a bargain for the extent and quality of work. Next time I have a project beyond my own ability I will be sure to use Spengler Company, and I am glad to know they are a LOT more than a plumbing company.\r

We've tried contacting them for an estimate on a tankless water heater, but have never gotten a response to any of our emails or phone calls.\r

We recently had to install a new sump pump in a crawlspace of a house we're trying to sell. Asked Spengler to come by for an estimate. They gave us a 2 hour appt window, but failed to show. My wife waited at the house with our 19 month old baby and had to call them 5 times only to be told that they have alot of customer and are really busy. The guy finally showed up an hour late. After he inspected the area, his bid came back almost 40% higher than any other and that didn't even include everything.\r

They may have the nice work trucks and the fancy ads, but that's all they've got over their competition. Their prices are outrageous. Their customer service is poor at best. Their attitude is deplorable. If you have any plumbing issues, do yourself and your wallet a favor and pick someone else...anyone else.

I had Spengler come out to give me an estimate on remodeling my bathroom, as well as two other plumbing companies. Spengler's price was almost double the estimates of the other two companies. Needless to say, we went with another plumbing company and couldn't be happier!

Pros: We got an appointment the same WEEK we called.

Cons: WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!

Stay away froom flat rate companies they give you a price upfront but by then its too late! This company charges in upwards of $200 per hour through their little pricing book. Do your homework on who you call and ask questions, I will next time!
