I knew when I renovated my bathroom I wanted it as green as possible. I had seen a bath floor done in bamboo and wanted it for my renovation. I sent for various samples and out of all that I received, CaliBamboos samples were exceptional. The beauty of their product was the luxurious look I wanted for my bath. I was lucky to have their sales representative, Matt Ezzo, work with me. Matt was friendly, helpful and definitely knew his product. He addressed all my questions and concerns. Im extremely pleased with the outcome of my flooring. Its absolutely beautiful and gives my new bath the luxury I was looking for, as well as compliments from my family and friend. I would definitely refer my friends, family and even strangers to CaliBamboo working with this company was one of my best experiences dealing with an online purchase. To be totally honest, there was a slight snafoo in delivering my flooring part of the parcel was damaged in shipping. After contacting Matt, I was immediately sent, with no expense to me, new flooring to replace the damaged planks. As I stated, Im extremely satisfied with my experience with Matt and CaliBamboo. I would definitely consider CaliBamboo for any future project.

Cali-Bamboo no-glue cork flooring is now installed in our entire new house. Every time someone comes in, they rave about it (and some even take off their shoes to feel how soft and warm it is.) It is incredibly easy to keep clean - just a dusting mop and a damp cloth if we've spilled something in the kitchen. Our floorers were amazed at how easy it was to work with (and the design of the house with many nooks and crannies did not make it really easy.) They loved it and will be recommending Cali-bamboo cork to other clients.

When my wife, Darlene, and I decided we would like to replace our carpet in our Great Room with hardwood, I started researching to see which hardwood would hold up to the abuse two dogs would give it. While surfing the net, I found Cali Bamboo. After reviewing their website I was ready to call them to discuss my options. Clark, a member of the Cali Bamboo Team, was very helpful and knowledgeable on the installation process. The Janka hardness rating for Cali Bamboo's product was well above any bamboo flooring I had seen. I placed my order that day.

When my Fossilized Wide Plank Java Bamboo Flooring arrived, I was shocked to see one of the boxes was damaged during shipping. I called Cali Bamboo right away and talked with Stephanie, another very helpful employee of Cali Bamboo. I sent pictures of the damage box and all the damaged flooring. Stephanie said this would assist Cali Bamboo with future deliveries. She also arranged to have all the damaged boards replaced at no cost to me.

I have completed the installation of our new floor and it looks beautiful. My dogs have not been able to damage it in anyway. All the neighbours have seen it and ask, "Where did you get this gorgeous floor?" Of course, I told them and gave them the website to see for themselves.

I found Calibamboo.com while searching for photos of bamboo flooring for a new basement bedroom. I hadn't really intended to buy online, but after speaking with them by phone and email, and receiving some sample pieces, I decided to place my order with them. I'm very happy with the Cali-clik flooring and ease of installation and wouldn't hesitate ordering from them again. CaliBamboo was above and beyond my greatest experience with ordering from a company that I found on the internet. In my search for a green floor not only was the quality better then expected, the customer service representatives who took care of me were above and beyond the BEST! I have never before dealt with a company so in tune with their customers needs and are so quick to resolve any issues or answer any questions. Keep up the Great work I will come back again for my next project without a doubt!
(Price was also better than Lumber Liquidators and a much better/safer product!!)

Beyond all of this not many companies make good on their promises. Everything I was told about the product was correct. The shipping of the boxes was very well thought out eliminating much of the damaging that would occur in shipping. Definitely turned me into a believer and a life long customer.

I could not be more pleased with this company, from the excellent customer service provided, to the construction instructions included on their website. They answered all my questions before I ordered. They offer fast and very reasonable shipping too. I selected this site to purchase materials for a backdrop fence for my Oriental garden and it turned out beautiful. I followed their installation instructions and had no problems. Thank you Cali!!

Matt at Cali Bamboo patiently answered all of my questions and helped me make the best product selection for my needs (8' x 8' bamboo fencing to add privacy and refresh a chain link fence). I live in Seattle, so Matt also recommended TWP sealer - really great product as well. The bamboo arrived as scheduled, the quality was even better than I expected, and installation was a breeze. The cost was totally reasonable, especially with the freight cost from San Diego to Seattle. I'll definitely order from Cali Bamboo again!

I started my Tiki Hut project two years ago looking to build a unique one of a kind tropical like get away on my back deck. My experience with Cali Bamboo from advise to sales has been incredible. Living "in land" from the ocean in the Northeast (Near Rochester), this type of build system is not the norm. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with them and will continue for years to come. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Recently installed over 750 sq. ft. of Antique Java Fossilized bamboo flooring during a major remodel on my 1920s home and we could not be happier. The flooring is beautiful and extremely durable and everyone is surprised when we tell them it is bamboo. Also, their customer service before and after the sale is amazing. We definitely recommend Cali Bamboo.

I recently purchased composition decking material, Bamdeck (30% recycled bamboo and 70% recycled plastic) from Cali Bamboo that was used to build a 300sf deck on my home in Arlington, Texas. It was a very easy process to order this material and have it shipped. Once I received the Bamdeck planks both myself and the contractor was extremely happy with the quality of the plank (very dense and uniform). The deck was recently completed and I am very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this product to someone who would want a quality, low maintenance deck.

As a surprise, my husband and I decided to redo our daughters room in a rainforest theme. After days of searching and researching for bamboo, I decided to go with Cali Bamboo. Their website is awesome.

I ordered 4 rolls of the mahogony bamboo fencing and a roll of the palm thatching. I put the bamboo fencing along the walls, as a ceiling over the skychair, placed bamboo poles on the back of the door as well as on the bookshelf. The thatching was used as a header around the skychair, base for the aquarium and to tv cords.

I emailed the customer service since it was really early in the morning. I received a call from Chris and he was so friendly, knew exactly what I wanted and shipped my order same day. The tracking number was sent to me within hours. I also received my order very quickly.

The packages arrived within 4 days. The packaging was awesome.

Thank you Cali Bamboo, I will definately be telling everyone I know what an awesome company, fast shipping, excellent customer service and fabulous products.

It was a scramble to say the least- I had Long Bow Classes to teach, Custom Long Bows to build, Long Bow Kit orders to process and a supplier who was still "waiting" on product!
As luck would have it, one call to Clark at Cali Bamboo and the problem was solved!
From the start, Clark, Eric and Cali Bamboo's Shipping Department stepped up to the plate. As promised, they sent me samples the very next day. By the end of that week I was on my way to odering hundreds of bamboo slats.

I decided to build a bamboo fence around my backyard...so I hit the internet to do research on where to get Bamboo. After speaking with SEVERAL companies, I can tell you that Cali Bamboo had the absolute BEST customer service. They were patient and extremely helpful answering all my questions.

However, I was truly amazed at the customer service AFTER I bought my Bamboo. The Rep checked on me to make sure I had everything I needed after the bamboo arrived, and emailed me additional resources to make sure my fence looked great. The quality of the bamboo is top notch!

We took our time to find the right flooring product for our home, ordering samples from several different companies and browsing local stores. We loved the samples of Antique Java - beautiful color, variation and distressing. We tested the sample thoroughly and loved the durability. We just finished installing in the kitchen and dining areas and love the result! Customer service was friendly and professional! Looking forward to finishing the entire first floor!

I have used a number of products form Cali Bamboo. I have used bamboo fencing, bamboo poles, palm weave, bamboo slats, bamboo stain and bamboo paneling to do a number of different projects including a tiki bar, a custom entertainment center, bifold doors and drawers. The products are durable and the customer service was very helpful

Everyone loves the basket weave product I used on the ceiling. I wasn't able to find it anywhere locally. Matt, their sales representative helped me on the phone. I called back several times in trying to decide if this was the right decision to make. He made it easy to know exactly how much product I needed. I just bought a few hundred feet of Cali Bamboo to replace my existing fencing and I love it. The look is amazing - way better than any traditional wood or metal fencing systems and the durability is going to outlast the other options by a long shot. And the fact that bamboo is an eco-friendly, rapidly renewable resource makes me feel even better about my purchase.

5/5/2011 Last year when my husband and I started talking about redoing a carpeted/wallpapered room to make it into a nursery, I was very insistent that we "go green" as much as possible. This meant no-VOC paint for the walls and absolutely NO carpeting. I also knew that I didn't want to tear down a bunch of perfectly good trees for hardwood flooring. So, Bamboo was the perfect solution. Not only is it STRONG, but Bamboo is the FASTEST growing plant on Earth!

Once we settled on Bamboo, we had to decide on a supplier. We looked at the "big box" hardware stores and a few online "liqidators" before finding Cali Bamboo. I am not going to go into why we didn't go with any of the other distributors, other than to say that Cali Bamboo carries the "REAL" stuff.

Cali Bamboo sent us free samples so that we could decide on the right color for our nursery. The first thing I noticed when received the sample is the it was ENTIRELY Bamboo. It wasn't 1/8th Bamboo on top of filler, rather it was ALL Bamboo. The next thing I noticed was the wonderful quality of the sealer/protectant that covers the Bamboo. Also, it has ultra low VOC and no added urea formaldehyde - something that was very important to us considering this was for our nursery.

Next, the sales team and customer service were wonderful from Day One - from the samples to the follow up to the patience of the staff while waiting for us to make a decision as to when we wanted to place our order (it was nearly a three month process getting the nursery together). When we received our delivery, the freight company (we live in New Jersey) did not deliver the boxes of trim. The driver insisted that he delivered everything, but I knew something was missing. I immediately called the freight company and Cali Bamboo to get this resolved. The representative I spoke with at Cali Bamboo (I believe her name was Melissa), immediately contacted the freight company and got back to me within a few hours to let me know that they (the freight company) has forgotten the pallet and would be delivering it the following day. Wonderful customer service!

We have had such an amazing response from friends and family to the flooring. They absolutely LOVE IT! So do we!! Thanks Cali Bamboo!

I am a student at Newschool of Architecture and Design, and I recently used Cali Bamboo in one of my school projects.

Not only did Cali Bamboo DONATE supplies to me and my group, the materials were beautiful and easy to work with.

The customer service was wonderful, and when I visited the warehouse representatives were more than happy to help out in any way they could!

I purchased the Distressed Java flooring to replace the tile and carpet I had in my open entry/living/dining room of my house. I researched numerous bamboo outlets and ordered over 30 samples from different 5 companies. I was very impressed with the quality and beauty of the Cali Bamboo flooring. The customer service was also very personable and helpful. I didn't feel pressure like I did with some of the other companies. I also felt good purchasing a renewable material from an American company.
The main reason for purchasing the fossilized bamboo is because of the durability and scratch resistance of the product. Although I live alone, I have a 50 lb Shar Pei who loves to run around the house.
The floors have now been in place for 10 months and I couldn't be happier. There are some scratches (no wood floor is completely scratch resistance obviously!) but not too evident unless you look for it. The floors shine beautifully and of all the improvements I did to the house, I get the most compliments on the floors. They are really striking. I am attaching a few photos.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because this is the first time I've bought wood flooring so I can't compare to others.

We had been ordering our bamboo from a local distributor here in Florida for years until I received a call from Cali Bamboo last summer. Their product was identical (if not better) and the prices were significantly lower. Their shipping charges were nearly the same and their selection much more extensive.
The best part of Cali Bamboo is the personalized attention we've received from our salesman Erik and also from Alyson in customer service.
Its nice to see that they care as much about the environment and charities as they do about making a profit. We here at Reef Rayley LLC

Cali Bamboo's service and products are great. I build and rent bamboo wedding arbors to couples getting married on the beach. Occasional y sometimes I will get a pole that is really crooked, or split. i wish that the larger poles could be hand picked and packed based on a customers needs.

We love our new floor from Cali Bamboo! When we decided to replace the flooring in our house we did a lot of research both online and at local stores to find the perfect choice. We decided on bamboo and surprisingly chose to order the flooring from Cali Bamboo rather than a local store. They had exactly what we wanted in bamboo flooring...excellent quality and reasonable pricing. Their customer service was also top notch. They responded to our inquiry in a timely manner, answered our questions professionally and provided shipping information so we could track our flooring. They also followed up with us to make sure everything arrived in good condition and we were happy. Overall, we had a great experience from Cali Bamboo and would buy quality bamboo flooring from them againand our new flooring looks great!

I have ordered twice for two different homes, each with a different products. The first time was back in 2006. We bought rolls of bamboo to make a facade on our fence. Still looks great, even after getting weathered with snow every year! The second purchase was 2000 square feet of Studio Square flooring for floor and stairs. I shopped around to many different companies, none had bamboo this unique or with this quality. Customer service was awesome every time I called. I had a millions questions. We have had the flooring installed for about 6 months now and it still starts a conversation when people come over!
They also offer environmentally glue and other products all with low VOCs.

I love this floor! I have it all over the house. I found the price to be very good, but mainly this is the best bamboo company out there! I researched thoroughly and I chose Cali Bamboo. The floor is beautiful and glints in the sunlight. Also, I know I am helping the environment by choosing bamboo and not exposing my children to harmful VOC's. Get this floor. You won't regret it!
