In recent years, North Park has transformed into a locale for diverse personalities and tastes. With these new residents, restaurants followed that offered various new and traditional cuisines, but all bound by a desire to present dishes that astounded the senses. Assisting in North Park??s continual transformation is SoHo Restaurant and Lounge.

Wanting to have food with flair, owner Carlos De Narvaez has created some truly spectacular meals with chef Evan Rossman. The dinner menu (in full here: www.sohorestaurantandlounge.com/menu.html) is a playful collection of flavors, ranging over shrimp pizza and aged cheddar hush puppies. And the brunch offerings (Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 3:00pm) are no less inspired. For instance, the Southwest Benedict, topped with an avocado hollandaise everyone around your table will want to try, balances a poached egg, smoked ham and a chipotle polenta cake. Boasting $9.00 endless mimosas, SoHo Restaurant and Lounge is definitely a place you will want to spend the weekend??s early hours.

And that is exactly the spirit Carlos wants to capture with his restaurant, a relaxed while remaining hip space where the assorted personalities can gather. After all, that??s what you would expect from a name following New York??s famous SoHo neighborhood, known for catering to the in crowd. Along this line, SoHo Restaurant and Lounge certainly keeps the reputation alive.
