This was my first time going here and I was referred by several people. I'm always skeptical because I've had some bad experiences and have actually left in tears! But Andrea,my new stylist,(:p) was great. Yes the scalp massage felt great and my hair turned out fantastic! Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I will be going back to Venus for all my cut and color needs from now on.

I've been going here for the past 7 or 8 years. They are a little expensive but when you consider you get a complimentary scalp massage it's not so bad. It's a small shop and you get individual attention along with all the local gossip. My hair has never looked better and I get compliments on it all the time. They are experts in coloring you hair as well.

I have been going to Venus for 6 yrs the cuts and color are the best! I always get lots of complitments on my hair. The girls @ Venus are all very sweet and make you feel like a family member. I have always used Heidi but would feel very comfortable with any of the girls to do my hair. Venus is alway up to date on all of the hip colors and cuts. They also have very reasonable prices and lots of products for your hair. I would NEVER go any where else for my hair now!!!! For the best atmosphere, fun and friendly conversation and the BEST COLOR and CUT EVER go to Venus. The girls there are all very professional and make you feel like a star!!!!!
Pros: Easy to find lots of parking and great hairdressers!
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Gigi is a great stylist. When I went to her (over two years ago) I had three different colors of roots! I had been going to one of the top salons in town for this mess. Gigi fixed my color and it's perfect every time. Always a great cut, too!
I am new to Tulsa and wanted a chic place to get my hair cut that could do as well as a job of the city I came from. I called around different places to get quotes on cost and I swear some people acted like I was bothering them and they had no time for me. I then was referred by a friend to Venus, they were wonderful w/ me. They took time w/ me over the phone and quoted me their prices which were very reasonable. When I went into my apointment I was greeted w/ a smile and my hair has never looked so
good!! I love it!! As I waited for my hair to dry I was offered something to drink and was pampered. My girl also visited w/ me and was friendly. She really did an amazing job on my hair, my husband couldn't stop
complitmenting my hair when I got home. He loved it! I would highly reccomend Venus to anyone who wants an awesome look for their hair, very friendly service, and a reasonable price!!! Who could argue w/ that?
Pros: parking easy to get in and out; sandwich shop next door to get a drink or lunch, easy location to find., Have to go to see the tool chests - they rock!
The service I got was not up to the price. While the hairdresser that cut my hair was kind of friendly, some of the other ladies seemed, for lack of better words, snotty. When I went to pay they couldn't decide whether they would take a check or not, which made me feel as if they just didn't trust me. Either you take checks or you don't, not for some and not others.
If you want to feel pampered and special then Venus Salon is the place for you. The hair cutting and coloring are supreme. The atmosphere is vry friendly and fun not to mention professional as well. If you want to look like a "Venus" or "Zeus" then this is your salon.
Kids get excellent cuts here too. The girls love kids and treat the little ones special too.
Wonderful facial massages! You can even duck next door for a sandwich on one side or shop fo gifts on the other side of the salon.
