Tippy Toes,
We apologize that you had an unfortunate time at our facility. We do our best to educate new players about the nature of the sport and offer adequate safety equipment like gloves, chest protectors and masks. We have implemented new procedures to ensure others do not have a similar experience.

The best thing we can do about problem players is to separate all parties involved and identify the offenders to take appropriate action. This means either removing the negative players from our arena or offering alternatives so the players in conflict are not playing at the same time. The best thing we encourage all players to do is to contact a Ref immediately after an incident. Our goal was to help calm your son down and speak with you to offer free passes for your son to join our Pee Wee session where he may feel more comfortable.

Your son was at the age cusp where we leave it up to the child and parent whether to allow the young player to join in with the older crowd, or play in our PEE WEE sessions specially designed for younger players. They utilize lower powered guns, are guided by refs and are playing with others around their ages and capacities.

We cannot express enough our grief surrounding your experience and at this time, the best that we can offer you and your son is a free pass for him and a friend to come and play on a Tuesday 3-7 Pee Wee session. If you are interested, please contact us and we can make the arrangements to ensure your family the pleasant and fun filled experience we do our best to provide.

Thank you,
Vanguard

If I could have given this place ZERO stars, I would have. I took my sons 11 and 9 with my husband 52 and myself 43. They state AIRSOFT bullets, NOT SOFT! I called ahead and I grilled them asking if it was suitable for children. They said it did not hurt wear double layers a hoodie and long pants which we all did. I specifically asked if it was similar to laser tag and they said even better and more fun! They were anything but HONEST. First of all the BBS Hurt! The bbs drew blood In addition I had several welts and bruise??s I am 43 and I have given birth to two kids. I have felt pain this is not tolerable enough to call a good time. This is not family fun! When you are hit by these BBS, you feel it! Layer or not it is painful. The shots drew blood on my hands neck and anywhere I was vulnerable I still got bruised and had welts where I had layers of clothes. The WORST part is that you get groups of teenagers and 20 something-plus players who are out for blood. I was never so terrified for my child. First the Referees go over the RULES They say do not shoot players at close range stay 10 feet apart Next was the rule when you get hit you YELL HIT and then you are to go back to your entrance door (you have 2 teams with separate doors) once you touch your door you may go back into the game. This is where it went down hill....about 1 minute entering the game I was hit I yelled Hit and raised my arm pointed my gun down to signal I was going to my door and as I walked towards my team door arm raised in the air yelling HIT it was free game for the slaughter. I was hit from every angel at point blank even though I kept yelling hit Finally, I screamed HIT BACK OFF! I threatened I would call a REF...(They were no where to be found) The Straw that broke the camels back was when Immediately after I was shadowing my 9 yr old son, he caught one of the other team players off guard and hit them from 10 feet away as instructed all of the sudden 3 people in Camouflage surrounded my little boy and rapid fired on him he was screaming HIT HIT and they did not stop I said stop!!! He (my son) hit you first you are supposed to surrender to your door, they started firing on me at point blank range it was brutal. My son and I ran out his legs were shaking so bad he could barely walk. Both of us were in pain and very shaken up. Having been shot at point blank range by men 3 times your size when you surrendered it was devastating. Already my husband and 10 year old abandoned this game before ever entering the torture grounds. The worst part was as a mother I was helpless against the assailants that ganged up against my poor little boy and myself. THIS IS NOT FAMILY FUN TIME... They do not regard the rules and it is filled with angry teenagers and young adults that want to hurt you. I would not be surprised if Serial Killers love this sport. Oh and the owner could care less he thought a Dr. pepper would make my son happy...not so he is still devastated to this day. All the owner wanted me to do was point out the culprit so he could sit him out for a round. "A round? I was shocked and said that's not severe enough punishment for what he and his group of friends did to me and my child... He should be banned from ever playing here again! Then he said he only saw 1 shot on my child when I lifted his shirt he had too many welts to count this was not even counting his legs and thighs which had multiple close range injury??s. We were not in this facility for 10 minutes of and were subjected to PURE torture. I paid for a 4-HOUR block and we lasted 10 minutes.... When we left, both my son and I were crying hysterically having been assaulted so severely. The owner could care less. If you cherish your children, do not bring them here. Even good teenagers do not set them up for this violence!
