I LOVE this store. I frequently shop here for unique gifts and I love knowing that I am supporting independent artists. It's also pretty awesome that they sell our album in their store =D

Oh man, for vinyl hounds like myself who thought downtown San Diego was dry, Feel It comes to the rescue! Excellent selection of records, which makes sense with a DJ working behind the counter. But beyond that, they have a lot of really unique art and collectables, as well as clothing. It has an Urban Outfitters feel without all the pretention, which makes me happy. And they support local artists and musicians, which makes me even happier. Kudos!

Great meeting you today... and thanks for keeping the store open a few minutes past closing time! Looking forward to getting back to Seattle and putting my wax on the turntable.

Thanks for all the time you spent with me on Monday looking at vinyl for my boyfriend. I truly appreciate it! The vinyl was a hit and we're planning to head down soon to look at more vinyl. Thanks again!

I was in town for a conference and looked up all of the nearby record stores. FeeLit was my first stop. Great place. Good variety of records and other cool stuff. The guy working that evening was the best. Showed me around the store, put some of my selections on the store stereo and made sure all of my choices were cleaned before I left. The vinyls were already in excellent shape, but I appreciate him making sure they were as clean as they could be and he even set me up with a media mailer to make sure they got home safely. Ended up with about five used vinyls and one new release. Good prices on all. Great store and excellent customer service. If you are in town and staying in the Gaslamp district, just walk on over to FeeLit and get your vinyl fix.

It started with vinyl love, DJ??ing and the hip lifestyle of the night, the thing that got Mark Alan Hamilton his Boutique on E street.

??The record companies are repressing the vinyl records.? He said with a light in his eyes, ??because the younger generation is buying them. They are feeling the music.?

It??s a good thing for this ex DJ that has an extensive collection of vinyl (prices from all labels range from $3.00 to $13.99), some fantastic commissioned artwork that rotates every 4 to 6 weeks, and a decent array of apparel, art and home dcor to please even the smoothest metro-male. The best part is that the shop promotes and supports mostly local brands, artists, and musicians.

Those include CDs from Om Records, Ubiquity Recordings, Wave, Sublevel, King Street, SalSoul, Om, Ubiquity & Suckadelic. Local bands, Producers & DJs music on vinyl & CD: HYENA, Fing, Bedford Grove, Vokab Kompany, Zapf Dingbats, The Styletones, Astra Kelly, The Ferocious Few, Social Green, AUDIOCRACK, DJ Evolved, Transfer, 3rd Borough, Nash Quest, Gina Rene, Danny Massure, Dibo, buddy akai & Slowburn. Original artwork, sculptures, framed prints, matted prints, gicles, books, graphic novels, comics, buttons, t-shirts & apparel from: Neko Press, Billy Martinez, Sean Dietrich, Dan Bois, Scott Saw, Spenser Little, Sean Griffin, Eric Wixon, Al Scholl, Alex Chiu, True Delorenzo, Janelle Carter, and rotating monthly artists. Designs from Stiska, Essentials Gear, Chi Stylezs, Goorin Brothers, Grammatique, Cool Exchange, Sedgwick & Cedar, Ubiquity Recordings, Om Records, ropeadope, Obey, Amber Rae Jewelry, Jungle Riddim Records, Tupelo, PeaceLoveLife, ESA & The Love Project.

It started with a love of vinyl, it came about by chance, the storefront became available and heseized it with gusto, I feel it San Diego. How to find it? Easy, says Hamilton, ??Leap and it will appear?. And that is how he suddenly found himself opening Feelit.
