Hello Everybody!

I wanted to take a couple of minutes to express to the world my deep dissatisfaction with Auto Club.

I purchased a taxi meter from these folks not a week ago and it's been one big hassle ever since.

The young ladies at the counter were very rude to start. They were engrossed in conversation upon my arrival. My presence wasn't acknowledged for a good 45 seconds. The conversation lapsed a few times where I thought they would break off and ask me what I wanted but nope, they kept right on going until they were finished.

The taxi meter I purchased I learned the following day has to be installed, calibrated, programmed, and maintained by Auto Club. (all other meters on the market you can do yourself, shop around fellas!) I decided to return the meter because of this.

I returned, receipt in hand the very next day. The very same young lady that waited on me the day before was there to serve me again. Yay. I told her I wanted to return the meter and she actually scowled. yes, scowled. She asked for the receipt and then asked "How am I supposed to know this is the same meter and you're not ripping us off, wait here" . She stomped off around the building and had me wait in the reception area.

She was gone for a good 5 minutes, which was good as there was a pretty good argument going on in the dispatch booth between a dispatcher named Don and one of the employees. VERY ENTERTAINING! It was in all honesty the high moment of my visit.

The young lady returns before the argument culminates but I'm pretty sure the employee gave Don in dispatch what's what.

She asks me to follow her into the garage and speak with the mechanic. As I turn the corner I see he is handling the meter out of the box with oily fingers ( no insult intended, he's a mechanic).

She tells me that she's satisfied that is the meter I was sold but if I wanted a refund I'd have to come back and speak with Oggie. I'm not sure who Oggie is, why he is named Oggie, or why he allows people to refer to him as Oggie, but since he's OK with all of that I decided not to go back. Seriously, Oggie?

Upon leaving, I told the young lady that I was going to do the company serious damage online with the review sites. She didn't care.

So, here we are. For the record I want nothing from these people. I will be reselling the meter on Ebay. This is not a blackmail review. If you're the owner or Oggie, or anyone that gives a hootie over at Auto Club/ Apache Taxi, start running your business right. Maybe you'll be able to escape reviews like these. Returns are a simple thing.

Now every morning when I have my coffee instead of reading the paper I find yet another in the endless string of review sites to blast you on. Seriously, this is like number 7 and I've got at least 15 more to go.

Thanks all!
