Jacqueline is an incredible nurse practitioner. I have been up and down with different practitioners because they don't take time to get to know you they take your money. But Jacqueline is super amazing at what she does she is caring her line of work is professional she makes sure to get to know you first which all of drs want to give you the easy way out of there office. Jacqueline is amazing at what she does she makes you feel important she listens to you all the time. When I feel like I have an emergency she makes room and time for me. She never overbooks my appointments and she never rushes me through them. She is such a respectful women that can empower you with the line of work that she does. Her services are incredible I am truly happy I found someone who actually wants to get to know me and understand me rather than drug me first. I have even recommended her to one of my cousins who suffers from anxiety and we love her! Her office is so calming it has such an amaizng energy and politeness as soon as you step in.

I just read that one review by that non patient. I hope his sister-in-law never finds out he basically has told the cyber world her name and her problems, but I digress. My experience with Jackie, my nurse practitioner, has been great. Jackie is caring, compassionate, kind, respectful and culturally sensitive. Furthermore, she knows her stuff. She takes the time to help her patients feel at ease with the process of seeing a psychiatric professional. She is all about educating her patient and answers questions thoroughly. She is also knowledgeable about the importance of proper nutrition as it relates to mental health. Jackie is professional and follows the mandates of her profession. I never feel rushed when I see Jackie and can truly say I always feel better after I see her. She has a great insight; I have gotten more out of my 20 minute appointments with Jackie than I have out of hour long sessions with some therapists. I highly recommend her...especially to the previous reviewer who sounds angry and has never even met her.:)

Monica Alvarado, my 21 year old sister-in-law went to Southern California Psychiatric Associates and met with Jacqueline D. Bredehoft lic#PMH565. According to Monica, the visit was very unpleasant and she felt that the Jacqueline didn't really care and was very short. She prescribed a Daytrada patch, but when we went to the pharmacy to pick it up, we found out that it cost over $200. So, we attempted to call her so that we can change the prescription to a generic pill form to save money. My wife left 5 messages over a three week period with the guy who answers the phone. Each time the man assured us that he gave Jacqueline the message. Finally, I left a message threatening if we do not get a call back that I will make a complaint to the American Psychiatric Association, and the call finally came. Jacqueline started the call by saying that she had been very busy and calls back over 20 people per day. She claimed to have called us back yesterday and left a message, which is a complete lie. When I asked her if she was sure, she said she assumed. She then said that since Monica isn't crazy or suicidal there isn't any rush to get this handled. Who says such a thing? Monica is in desperate need for help, and this is the type of help you provide? Towards the end of call, I told Jacqueline that her tone was extremely condescending and I told her to please just call the pharmacy and tell them to issue the generic pills and then she tells me she'll need to see Monica again in order to do this, but it would have to wait until May 4th or something like that (2 more weeks). All this woman wants is to collect more office visit money for doing absolutely nothing. I raised my voice out of frustration and she had the nerve to hang up on me. This lady is extremely unprofessional and everyone should stay clear of her.
