I bought a car about a month and half ago from Complete Automotive. The first week I got the car found out it had an accident history on Autocheck which was not showing on the Carfax they had online (stupid mistake I made, simply trust them too much). When I tell them about what I found out they simply tell me they have no idea about it. Who knows if I should trust what they say or not since they should know the car better than me.

I spent lots of time calling autocheck, LAPD and CHP (accident happened in CA). Finally I got confirmed by the police officer who did the original report saying the accident was happened back in Julu 2012. Also, they said they will get the police report for me but it has been more than a month now I still haven't gotten anything. Every time I ask them they said it is still pending but I have talked to Autocheck they confirmed they have the report and updated the car history report for more detailed.

They were few missing parts like "door handle cover, front bumper screws, front bumper reflectors were half falling and front bumper energy absorber which is something that I have to pay dealer to order and install. The missing front bumper energy absorber makes me wonder how bad the accident was. The paint job on the front bumper was done poorly. The paint chips easily and you can tell the clear coat was not done well.

They do offer me for an exchange but the other 2011 Z4 Black they have in stock the car was not fully functional when I check it out (iDrive didn't work at all) and the exterior condition is not as good as the one I got (missing floor mats, chips and dent here and there and etc). They also offer me to find another car but if they find it at auction I have to take it even I don't like the condition when it arrives. At first I was ok with this solution but they did not send me any information about finding me another car or the options I have at all and I have no idea how long will be taking for them to find me another car (maybe 3, 6 months? Or even longer) since I don't trust them anymore who knows if they will just ignore me in the end. Also, I will not want to buy a car without checking it first.

I am really upset about this car and the Complete Automotive even the whole process and price was ok. If I have known the accident history I will not buy it I will rather pay more at somewhere else for a clean history car or even brand new. Lesson learned that never trust any dealer when buying a USED car. Also, never buy a used car at night without checking the car under the bright sunlight. Also, do PPI before buying it

I was trying to find a way to resolve this issue with them that's why I didn't write a review right after I found out the accident history. I was hoping they are nice enough to deal with it but now I feel like they are pretty much just ignoring this issue. The car was "sold as is" and basically they can just ignore everyone once you sign the paper work.

This is my first time getting a used car and thought they are a nice dealer to work with but worst experience for me ever and will NEVER EVER buy a car from them again.
