I took my used 2004 Lincoln Navigator to them with problems knowing that the dealership always fix vehicles the right way. I was wrong for thinking that. They tried to charge me over $4000 for parts and labor. Two of the parts being head light assemblys which cost over $1000 dollars apeice, and a washer jugg that costs over $120. So I told them to fix everything else except those items. They said they fixed the problem with my air bags but the light is still on. They said they fixed my door ajar problem but that light still comes on too. Then tell my wife that the door ajar fix was temporary and that it was noted on the reciept and that we need an $800 wiring harness that wasn't found during the first testing. Well when you take your vehicle to the Dealership of all places to get fixed. It shouldn't be any temp fixes. This is just the short version of the story, but now they said that if we buy the parts they will install them for free. My question is why wasn't it fixed the first time, and why do I have to pay for your mistakes. Someone needs to close them down or make them fix/pay what they owe.

I do not recommend using the Hixson Ford service department. We were on vacation in Leesville LA and took our F-350 truck to be serviced. Late Friday we were charged $1300 for a fuel pump that was installed incorrectly. We went back and spoke to the General Manager who assured us the matter would be rectified. The truck was never brought back in to be looked at (they told us it was in there, it was NOT) we waited 4 hours to then be told they were sorry, they should not have told us it was "fixed", and that they did us a favor by giving us a $1300 "band-aid" in hopes we would make it home. Hixson service dept. misled us into believing our vehicle was fixed. Not once did they mention the work they did was a band-aid. We then took our vehicle to Shreveport to the Ford Dealership to be looked at and they stated the mechanic did not set the parameters in the computer to support the new fuel pump. We paid for that repair as well. Run from this business as fast as you can. They are dishonest and incompetent.
