.

This is the first CVS to hit town years ago, back in the 90s when Acme (that's right, Acme!) supermarket closed it's doors. There are now three CVS pharmacy locations in Teaneck, and the one on the other end of Cedar Lane is 24 hours. This one is not. Other than that it's easy to forget which one you're in once you start roaming the identical aisles. All three stay in the police blotter as targets of shoplifters.

One nice note that I hope is the new trend: I used my CVS card and lo and behold! A few dollars came off my bill WITHOUT having to present a register coupon from a previous visit! CVS was always giving you a discount on the receipt tape for the NEXT visit, and leaving only a week or so before it expired. This instant savings is a pleasant surprise and makes the burden of carting a dozen of those merchant "rewards" cards around, if only the rest get on board with the instant discount. Keep in mind that I mean that's it's extra money off, beyond the sale prices that you are forced carry and present the card for initially. CVS also has revamped their self service photo printing kiosks in many stores. I've actually started to make this my pit stop for eggs, or that carton of milk, ( okay ...that pint of Haagen Dazs!) especially if I'm doing photos or picking up a prescription anyway.
