I would like to send out a BIG Thank You to the staff at ??Train With Corey?
I had a 10k mud run event in my very near future and knew I had a lot of work to do. I needed some general conditioning, loose about 20 pounds, and tune up my cardio?.all within 6 weeks. I asked Rachel her thoughts, and to set me up with someone that would take my challenge. Here comes Jay!
Working with Jay was exactly that, work. He knew and understood my very specific goals, and work right beside me to achieve them. Jay took a personal pride in my progress. He kept every workout different so I didn??t get that, ??Oh that again? feeling when I walked in the studio. Jay was also very acute to how I felt on a day to day basis. Whether my knees were acting up, or the back was a little achy, he would tailor each and every workout around what he thought was going to be best, for my body and my goals. I actually enjoyed going to work out with Jay. He always did the workout with me, challenges me on every step, and kept everything fresh. That is huge for someone that does not like to go to the gym.
At the end of 6 weeks, and only 2 visits per week, we were successful! I lost 22 pounds. I had extra wind. I personally felt great. As far as the event, no cardio problems and I beat last years?? time by more than 20 minutes. I look in the mirror, see the transformation, and want to keep up the work. I have gained strength, motivation and endurance. What a great 6 weeks it??s been!
For anyone that could use a kick start or needs that extra ??push,? I would certainly recommend taking a look at Jay and Train with Corey. From the moment I walked in the door and met Rachel, to my targeted date, I was always in good hands and was always impressed!
