Ms Erika and Ms Nicole run one of the best daycares I've seen. Their program is truly is a preschool, as their curriculum prepares kids to excel in kindergarten. More importantly for me, Ms Erika and Ms Nicole had no problem incorporating my son's IEP - he has mild autism - into their teaching methods and curriculum for the entire class. Since starting at Crocodile Kids last year, my son's speech and language skills have measurably increased, in much part thanks to their willingness to incorporate my son's speech therapy goals into their program. My daughter, who is neurotypical, just turned three and can already count to 40, write her alphabet, and is reading about 25 words on sight. She knows her colors, shapes, and has developed social and emotional skills. Ms. Erika and Ms Nicole are incredible teachers!

My name is Jessica. I have known Erika for about 2 1/2 yrs. Our daughter starting attending A Child Time to Explore 2 when she was 1 1/2 yrs old. Erika's school was the first school we had ever sent our daughter to. Within the first 3 months of attending our daughter was counting to 10 without hesitation as well she had learned all her colors and shapes. Within 6 months our daughter had been getting quite familiar with the seasons, holidays, months, and days. She was able to recognize her senses and understand her body parts. Our daughter had attended A Childs Time to Explore 2 for 1 year total and the only reason she is not attending now is due to us having to relocate out of the area. Erika had taught our daughter how to share, be polite and make friends along with solving many different types of problems that could or would arise between such a young group of kids. Erika was always helpful with anything we asked from potty training ideas or different ways to handle the harder of times of a 2 yr old. She was always open and honest with us. We never were left feeling like we weren't involved with the schools programs or daily activities. She treated us along with the other children and parents as if we were her very own family. The only reason we are not with her now is due to us having to relocate out of the area. If we were near her now we wouldn't hesitate in anyway to follow Erika in the new adventures of Crocodile Kids Preschool. We loved every minute of our time and continue to keep communication even now. To this very day I recommend Erika and any preschool she is in charge of to everyone i come in contact with whether they live in Portland or not.
