I have been having problems with my cable for 7 weeks, I am missing many channels that I am paying for ( I have the bundle package, home phone, internet & cable ) I pay the amount of $147.59 per month for these services. ( this is more costly than my electric bill most months ) I have called the Comcast customer service number around 3 times a week for seven weeks & still can't get this problem with my cable resolved. The first 2 times I called, the customer reps sent a refresh signal to restore the missing channels but this did not work. The third time I called I was told that someone would have to come to my home to fix this problem & I would be charged. I asked "why?" because I am already paying my Comcast bill a lot of money monthly. I live on a small budget & just refuse to pay extra money for someone to come into my home & mash a few buttons ( I already did this to no avail ) Since then I have called customer service many times to just get shuffled around to many different reps in different departments. Most of the time when they transfer my call to another department I get disconnected & have to start all over with this process. I have spent many hours on the phone to just get disconnected over & over again. I finally drove to Comcast on Commerce Dr., Savannah, GA., stood in line for about 45 minutes with my bill to pay & to get this situation resolved in person. When I got to the customer service rep & complained to her what was going on with my missing channels & how I have been avoided & disconnected with customer service on the phone with no resolve, she just said she was sorry & sat there looking at me. She made no attempt to help me. I told her that I will pay for last months phone & internet costs but refuse to pay for my cable costs. This she agreed to do for me but still no efforts to fix the missing channels problem. I also wanted to pay my bill while I was talking to her but she said I would have to get back in line again & wait in order to do this! I was furious & just walked out. I'm not going to wait another 45 minutes to just pay my bill! I made up my mind this morning to return all Comcast equipment & to cancell my subscription with them. By the way, they are going up in cost $10.00 monthly this year (2012) This is an extra $120.00 yearly to pay for sorry service, neglect & avoidance. Also, if you pay attention to when your monthly bill comes in, it comes in a few days earlier each month, so by the end of the year you have paid for 13 months of cable instead of 12 months. I would strongly advise people in the Savannah area to search out another cable provider!
