If you want GREAT wedding photos without breaking the bank, Marge is your person. I love that you can contract her services by the hour. I found her on Craigslist and I'm so glad I did. My fiance and I only contracted her services for an hour and she did a spectactular job! She was prompt, very patient and a very nice person to work with. She captured unbelievable candid shots that left us saying "she captured that". She will be our go to photographer for years to come. I highly recommend Marge. If you're looking for a photographer Marge Maghoney won't disappoint!!

If I oculd give Marge 6 stars I would!
She was fantastic.
We were organising our City Hall wedding from England and so needed to feel we could trust the photographer to do a good job based on her online portfolio. Neither of us enjoy having our picture taken and so I wanted the more photojournalistic shots. Marge seemed to fit the bill perfectly and at such a good rate compared to other photographers I had seen, too good to be true!
She was great with communication and any questions or requests I had, she responded quickly to.
On the day itself, I was very nervous! Marge text me early on to let me know that she was on her way offering reassuring words and letting us know where to meet her.
Straight away she got to work, although there were a lot of posed/semi natural ones, they turned out really nicely. It was all very surreal and the comedy of it all (to us) settled our nerves and made the time waiting for our slot much more bearable.
Afterwards, she posted the discs to us which arrived shortly after we got home and then again wrote to us to assure us that the photobook was on it's way which I thought was very thoughtful.
Overall, I would not hesitate to book Marge again. We have lots of beautiful pictures to remember our day.

Marge was our wedding photographer and she was awesome. She was everywhere at once and super easy to work with. She arrived early and stayed late at the reception. She took over 1000 shots throughout the day! Marge is very high energy, got all of the pictures and professional. She would double check shots to make sure that no one was blinking. She was amazing!

I feel proud of myself for having found Marge. I spent hours and hours looking for a quality wedding photographer I can afford. I painstakingly spent hours online, asking friends, joining different wedding forums and encountered lots of disappointments with the photographer out there charging thousands of dollars and only for a few hours of coverage! A friend of mine suggested I go on Craigslist. And there I found her. I was very easy to get in touch with her. I sent her an email and left my number and she replied right away! She took really beautiful photographs of my wedding (me getting ready, my entire ceremony & my reception) and all for just $900.00! I told her I would refer her to my friends and spread the word. I guess she has really low overhead costs so she passes on those savings to brides & grooms with a tight budget (like me). =)

Quality and affordable wedding photography. The best find in the Bay Area.It was worth it taking our time looking for the right photographer. We found Marge just before we were about to book with this other photographer. Marge was very professional, very friendly and put us and our friends and family at ease and came up with the most amazing photos at almost half the price the photographer we almost booked was charging! We loved our pics and have been recommending Marge to people. The deluxe photo book we ordered looks so professionally made, it looks like one of those expensive wedding books! We've shown our photo book to so many people!

Amazing High Quality Affordable Wedding Photography In The Bay AreaMy husband and I were married in Millbrae. Marge's photography captured the day perfectly. Her photos have a way of telling a story. I love to look back at our wedding pictures because it is like reliving the best day of my life all over again. We will definitely use Marge in the future.

I am a purple cow. A purple what? In a pasture, a purple cow would stand out from the rest, you would immediately notice it. A purple cow garners attention. The term was popularized by author Seth Godin in his book, Purple Cow, that lists ideas on presenting yourself to clients in a more remarkable way, thus grabbing their attention and separating yourself from others in your field. My point of view is this. If I was the bride, or the birthday celebrant, or the excited recently engaged or the proud mom of a graduate looking for a photographer to capture our special day, being good is, well, not good enough. I would like someone extraordinary who is willing to work with me with what I am willing to spend. Seth Godin (in his book, "Tribes"), wrote: "We have an obligation to change the rules, to raise the bar, to play a different game, and to play it better than anyone has the right to believe is possible." It all boils down to this. I love what I do! From meeting my clients, brainstorming for new ideas, preparing my cameras and gadgets the night before, posing my subjects, finding the 'in-between' moments, the interesting conversations I have with you, your friends and family, the atmosphere of happy celebration, updating my website and portfolio with new ideas and photos, making props, editing photos, creating photo books, receiving heart warming testimonials from you to writing thank you cards. I feel blessed being able to make a living out of what I enjoy and it is just natural to pass on that gift to you.

I stand out among the vast sea of photographers in the bay area and I get picked by my clients because of quality plus I offer more within a price range that we could all agree is reasonable.
