Went here for first night of Restaurant Week along with what appeared to be a lot of other people.. it was packed on this particular evening. Then again, it's easy to pack this place as there aren't a lot of tables to begin with in the restaurant section (it's a combo restaurant/deli/marketplace setup). I ordered a pizza and my husband ordered the lasagna and we split a salad.. all 3 were delicious and well-presented. The serving staff did well despite the fact that they were clearly overloaded for this particular night. Two thumbs up from this couple.

We visited Fresh while we were in town visiting some friends, who live nearby the restaurant (Skyhawk). In addition to sharing a great bottle of wine (the Bila Haut french red), half of our group ordered pizza (which was thin crust Italian

Fresh has a lot of things going for it but Lou the pizza guy is my personal hero over there. Of everything on the menu their wood-oven pizza is the best in Santa Rosa.. and there is a LOT of pizza in Santa Rosa these days so that is not an easy competition. I would love to see more topping and choices added but in the meantime I'll keep ordering my margarita pizza and be quite happy.

wife and i went here for valentine's day and had a great meal...which is important to me because my wife is rather...shall we say.. focused on valentine's day and having a good experience (bit more than I am). waitress was friendly and our all of the courses of our prix fixe meal were good and to both our liking. overall value of the meal was good, especially comparing to what some of the other local restaurants we called wanted to charge us for their V-day menus. only complaint was that the table was a little small, but i guess that wasn't a such a bad thing for valentines day...

We happened upon this place somewhat by chance as we were driving into Santa Rosa from Sonoma during a wine country weekend. We stopped to buy water and saw that they had a wine bar, and liked the menu so decided to grab a bite. My boyfriend got the stuffed burger and I got the Thai salad special, and both were delicious. Got a few glasses of a local Pinot (don't remember the name of it) and it was as good as anything we had gotten wine tasting that afternoon. Will look them up again next time we're up for the weekend.

Stopped by as we live in nearby Skyhawk and was really impressed at what Lisa did with the old Skyhawk Market. It's now a French Bistro/market and they not only have great food, wine and coffee, but lots of local organic produce that beats anything I've gotten at Whole Foods or Oliver's. Great addition to our little neighborhood and has become a regular stop for us.

Went here after a friend told me about the Reuben. Hubby got the stuffed burger (gave it the thumbs up) and the Reuben lived up to its billing. Had some great wine as well. Service was good -- not exceptional, but good.

I went to Fresh for a late lunch with my kids and had a great experience so I came back for dinner on the weekend with my husband and had another great meal....I was really glad that I made reservations because they were packed and had a wait list. But our table was waiting for us marked with a cute little planter with a fork in the middle and an apple on top. We were seated right away brought water with a hint of mint and bread with yummy dipping oil.
I had my hubby go check out the wine selection from the market since we accidentally left our wine on the counter at home . He picked out a delicious pinot. The server let us know that there will still be a $5 corkage which is better than the $10 corkage if we brought our wine from home.
Great Food - Great Service - Great price. ;-)

Just discovered this place at a biz lunch meeting. Pulled pork sandwich I ordered was exceptional. Had a hard time deciding as a couple of my bar neighbors' dishes looked really good. Layout is a bit funky inside w/the market restaurant combo but the food's what matters. Good stuff all around.

Went here for lunch and overall was very impressed. Had the Reuben and it lived up to its billing...that's one amazing sandwich. Server was nice enough, and food took a reasonable amount of time to arrive. Will definitely be back again, probably to try the dinner menu.
