The person who left the review below is right on! Great looking crowd during happy hour! If that doesn't make a guy drink more, I don't know what will! Food was very good. It looks small but certainly fills you up. Great service as well. In the words of the terminator, "I'll be back!"

I went for happy hour with a couple of good friends. Very good food with wonderful flavor. Good deal on drinks too. The huge windows were rolled up so the fresh air can come in. Fun to people watch with all the Amazon people walking by. Good looking staff too!

Stopped by re:public for a late dinner Tuesday evening and had a wonderful time. Tried several of the small plate offerings, an entree and the desert sampler along with some wine. Food presentation was beautiful and the flavors were outstanding. The owners stopped by the table to chat, asked for feedback and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. All in all, a perfect ending to a beautiful summer evening in Seattle!

Pros: food, atmosphere, location

This is a new restaurant in the South Lake Union neigbhorhood (right next to the Tesla dealership and right on the S.L.U.T. route). I've been to all the restaurants in this neighborhood and re:Public is definitely the best.

The food is incredible - a great fit for foodies. Lots of small plates for sharing and tasting, as well as full sized entrees. There is a good wine list and the prices for full bottles are surprisingly low. The service is great, even on the busiest nights.

The owners are always on the floor and you can tell that their presence and attention to detail is what really puts re:Public over the top. We've been there several times and we've never had a bad experience and it is difficult to believe that this is a new restaurant because they are doing everything right - the food, the prices, the atmosphere, the service.

Run, don't walk to re:Public!!
