    I took my car in for the 10th time to get my windows tinted. They worked me in and treated me very well. In fact, I made the mistake and didn't take a car there to tint one time and I ended up taking it back to Waxwerks stripped the old and put new on. I don't know what they do but I think their tint and service is the best.

    I just had the windows on my 2005 Suzuki Reno tinted today. All I can say is that Rob and Tony were very courteous and polite, explaining all the available options. They did a fantastic job of taking of me there. The people who did the actual tint job did a wonderful job as well. I'm a very satisfied customer and recommend them highly.

    I had a Viper 5701 (Security & Remote Starter) previously installed by another company and it stopped responding to our keychain remotes. The other company said they couldn't check it out without a fee because they were under new management. Oh really?! Well I decided to take my business to Waxwerks and I'm glad I did! We hadn't used the remotes in a while because we'd lost the battery covers. They checked out the problem with the remotes and explained that the system just needed to be reset. I was already tired of dealing with the electric tape we'd been using in place of the battery covers and the cost of replacing the remotes was more than the Viper SmartStart Module that was compatible with my current system. I had it installed two days later. Dropped it off, walked down the street for lunch and barely had time to finish because it only took them 45 minutes! It works great and my wife loves her early Christmas gift! I will be returning to Waxwerks, count on it!

    Day1:They killed my car when working on it. Day3:They sent it to a garage that said my engine was froze up. Waxwerks said that there was nothing they could do if the issue were mechanical. Day4:I towed it to a dealership. Day5:They said my ECM was fried and that whomever looked at it last didn't put back the spring in my ignition coil... The engine is fine. The dealership said it would cost $1500.00 to fix.I called and told waxwerks. They said they would call me back to let me know how they were going to take care of this. Day6:No word yet. Day7:Still nothing so I call. They will get back to me later that day or at the latest in two days. Day8. Day9: I call them cause the dealer wants me to get the car off their property if I am not going to have them fix it. I call waxwerks and they still don't have an answer for me.     I would highly recommend anyone looking to detail their vehicle to call Dave with Waxwerks. He is very nice over the phone and they all do a GREAT job, especially with dog hair removal. They are the only ones I take my car to! \r\n\r\nCall DAVE!

    I had my windows tinted and a detail on my Grand Prix at Waxwerks and I didn't have any problems at all. I dropped it off first thing in the morning (on a Saturday) and received a call by 2pm telling me the car was ready.

    My car was pretty dirty and it looked like a different car when I picked it up. The store was very clean, the prices fair and the staff was very helpful. It didn't seem like the same place the other reviews on here were talking about.

    Make up your own mind on this place. But, I didn't have the same experience other people here talk about.

    To make a long story short I went in three times to get a sub put in. They installed it partially but said they couldn't find keys to pull the Audi stereo out to finish.

    On the third time they said, just go to Audi and have them pull it out then bring it back and they'd connect the last parts. They also said because of the hassle I only had to pay half.

    I did what they said brought it back (4th time) and then they made me pay in full after a LONG argument.

    As I drove away I realized they f-d up the installation and connected the stereo wires to power wires (an industry no no, but common if a place just wants to half a-s the job and get it done fast).

    I now have engine feedback running through my speakers but refuse to go back to those jerks.

    They did an excellent job on my windows. I tinted my 2005 honda civic there about 3 months ago. They over charged me 20.00. When i realized it at home they said they would mail me a check for 20.00 cause they made a mistake and was sorry. Like i said its been 3 months and they keep saying they will send me my money but still nothing. I live on the southside so i cant just drive up and get it but next time im on the northside im going in. Other then this it was a great experience but think the man pocketed my extra 20.00 so be careful.

    I have been using this place to have window tint put on all my cars. After their first "attempt", I drove my car off the disgusting lot (which is also cramped and dangerous), and later in the day while driving in the rain, water started to come streaming in the drivers side A-Pillar right on my face, no joke.

    So I returned my car and they made their 2nd attempt, this time I noticed burn marks all over my headliner close the windshield. So I returned it once again and they "fixed" the burn marks (not very well).

    So thinking all is well, I give my car a bath and notice a black resin all over my roof next to the top of the windshield, and it won't come off. At this point I'm so enraged I just deal with the resin. But wait!!! That's not all!!! A week later my A-Pillar interior cover piece falls on my lap while I'm driving, and a year later my car still leaks.

    Pleeeeeease take my advice, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR IN THE HANDS OF THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

    Bad, Very Bad Service. It took going back 3 times for them to finish my detail. First they didn't wipe down the door jams. then I noticed that night that the roof was not waxed. The Manager couldn't even take the time to talk to me. They gave me Mike's car was coupons for all my trouble. This place has NO customer service.

    WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! Wax Jerks completely abused me. \r\nI asked them to replace my convertible top ($800) and had the car back in less than a week. A few months later the top had tears on both rear quarter panels because they had not installed it properly. When I took it back, they had my car for five days to repair it and called to tell me it was ready. When I went to pick it up, they had not repaired the top but had ""taken pictures"" to send to their top vendor (the manager missed his calling as a used-car salesman). He said they would replace the top but I would have to pay for the labor (another $200 to fix their showdy workmanship). I showed him where the top was not properly installed in the rear, but he refused to admit their mistake. Aso, while it was there for ""pictures"", they put a huge scratch down the rear spoiler.\r\nI left the car there and was told he would have it fixed in a week or so, but that they were really busy and it might be awhile before they got around to it. (So much for standing behind the warranty). When I stopped by three weeks later, the car still hadn't been touched. It was FIVE WEEKS before I had my car back. This time you could see that they had secured the top a different way... the proper way. When I went to pick it up, the top was done but they had not repaired the scratch. I waited for two hours while they ""buffed out"" the scratch. When I got the car home, I noticed the rear window had not been replaced properly on the top, it was an inch low and the webbing holding the glass was exposed to the elements. There was no way I was letting these clowns touch my car again, so I took it to a dealer to have it refitted (another $150). The manager is a complete and total incompetent #@#@. Wax Werks does not stand behind it's work!\r\n\r\nI WILL NEVER USE THESE IDIOTS AGAIN!!!

    I walk into this place one day needing to get my girlfriends car detailed as a gift. They were priced higher than some other shops, but I was told "we do a better job"

    I tell them I was a detailer myself, for 5 years, and had even worked at a body shop wet sanding and buffing fresh paint jobs - so I knew my way around the industry, and expected a good job for the money they were charging.

    They yeah yeah me to death, take the keys, and I leave.

    I come back that evening with my girlfriend to a disaster.

    Firstly, the interior was very light tan leather, you could see they had sprayed a cleaner on the seats and door panels, but never so much as ran a towel over them from that point on, there were just clean streaks where the cleaner had been sprayed and flowed down the seats and door panels.

    None of the nooks and crannies were attended to, and the carpets were soaked, and looked virtually no different than they did when we dropped the vehicle off - and this is the good part of the detail.

    We look at the exterior, and the dark purple paint is swirled almost to the point of no return, and the paint on several corners of the body lines were burnt down to primer. The front of the car even had the bugs literally polished into the paint, they did not prep the car properly, and left it with tar and bugs all over the place, and simply polished right over them.

    At this point my girlfriend is virtually in tears, this is the first new car she has EVER had, and worked her butt off to own.

    So we grab the only person left in their showroom, take him back, show him this disaster, and he pretty much responds, sorry dude, we get complaints all the time about the detailer that did your car, call the owner in the morning to get it redone.

    When I call, I ask the owner to please have another tech fix the detail, because I knew there'd be only one shot at fixing the swirls with a polisher, after that it (the whole car) would need re-painted (we were going to forgive the burns) - because it was obvious the tech HE HAD EMPLOYED THERE, had no clue how to operate a high speed polisher.

    He said "nope", "I pay my guys per car, and that detailer will have to do it again for free"

    I couldn't believe my ears.

    I said, ?sorry, I did not write a check to the detailer, I wrote a check to you, waxwerks, you need to see the big picture here and please get another detailer to fix this mess?

    Here I am arguing over what to him is $20 to fix a $250+ detail - and in the balance, is saving a $3000 paint job on an almost brand new $26,000 vehicle.

    My line of thought, if he is refusing a $20 loss to fix a bad buff - there is NO WAY he'll take care of a $3000 paint job if his employee makes it worse, and even pointed that out to him.

    So I tell him to think it over vs court - that I'll call back tomorrow.

    Well tomorrow turned into about 20 calls over a two week period, every time I'd be placed on hold for 15-20 minutes at a shot without anyone ever picking me up again.

    So I call on my cell to see if he is there WHILE pulling into his lot, they say yes, I say great, I am in your lot getting out of my vehicle, I walk through the door, see the owners back as he is racing through his office door, and they tell me, sorry, we were wrong, he had to run a client home.

    This guy avoided me to the point that I simply gave up and paid another company HUNDREDS to fix because of the additional labor needed to fix their mess.

    My opinion of this company: They are incompetent, do not know the first thing about customer care, nor about auto detailing, and the owner is a penny pinching slime ball who cares nothing about his customers, employees, or even his company's reputation - he seems to care for little beyond the money in his register.

    AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE !!

    This establishment will not stand behind their work. My window tinting went horribly wrong. The installer cut the tint too small and then filled in the 1/4 inch gap with black magic marker. Business refuses to fix it.

    I had my car windows tinted at this location. When I saw the tint, it had some bad spots in it. I mentioned it to the guy at the counter and he tried to get me to pay for it without looking at the problem. When I refused, he took a look and then had the guys pull it back in to fix it. It still wasnt right. He had them fix it again. Finally I paid and was happy until I stopped to get gas and noticed they had gotten grease all over the back (leather) seat and floor of my new car-that didnt come all the way out when I cleaned it. My husband called and complained and cancelled his appointment for some work that he had scheduled for his own car. They tried to make him pay for his cancelled appointment. After some checking around, he found that they offered the best $ deal on the work he wanted (he wanted his windows tinted and stripes put on his NEW sports car) so he went back. They ended up putting the WRONG COLOR stripes on his car when he gave them pictures and everything of what he wanted. They refused to give his car back to him until he split the cost with them of repairing their mistake. They were so rude about their errors and YELLED at us for their mistake and charged us to fix it. We called the police and a lawyer and both said they would legally keep the car if they wanted! We decided it wasnt worth the fight or money so we paid. The work they did on both cars was good. Not great. And certainly not worth the hassle and cost of dealing with them. We will never go back there and will never suggest anyone else go either.
