Dr. Levy is a true find!
I was about to have major surgery and my cat got sick right before I was about to go into the hospital. I explained the situation to Dr. Levy (who did not know me or my cat) and she agreed to come to my apartment at my convenience, literally late at night the night before my procedure, to make sure my cat was okay and put my mind at ease before I had my surgery. Her assistant was wonderful and VERY good with my sometimes difficult feline.
Not only that, Dr. Levy is extremely kind and accessible through email and phone and puts up with my (possibly ridiculous?!) questions about my cat and answers all my questions with compassion and concern, as well as an abundance of patience.
I would recommend her to anyone. Another bonus, she is extremely reasonably priced particularly for someone who makes house calls and who goes out of her way for pets and their caretakers!!!

I am so thrilled to have found Dr. Levy and her practice for the care of my two cats. One cat has just been diagnosed with Diabetes and is insulin dependent. The traditional way of caring for a sick animal, packing him up, taking him to the vet, having him examined on a steel, cold table caused my cat so much stress and anxiety as well as my troubles of needing to get time off of work to take my cat to the vet during their hours of operation. Dr. Levy has made my quality of life better in many ways in my situation: 1) she comes to my house at convenient times, which enables me to provide my cat with the care he needs without the anxiety. 2) Dr. Levy is progressive and thoughtful. She researches all the new trials and one just so happens to possibly cure my cat of his diabetes! She is helping me through the process right now to see if it will work! 3) Dr. Levy is patient and will explain what is happening with my cat. Dr. Levy took me out for coffee to teach me how to administer my cat's treatment and is always available for questions via phone, email, etc. 4) Dr. Levy has many other services that make the whole animal experience better. She offers medicine administration and animal care while I'm away for a reasonable price. I have used this service and it was phenomenal. I have boarded my cats, hired other cat sitters and I saw a positive difference in my cats?? behavior and overall appearance when I returned. Obviously, I need more than just a cat sitter, I need a medical professional that I can trust and dependent on to medicate my cat correctly. The price she charged me, however, is equivalent to what a regular cat sitter would charge for a two-time a day visit every day. 5)Dr. Levy has an easy process to fill orders for meds and prescription food. She has links on her site, helps get the best price, etc. She manages their routine care and then, chronic cases like mine with professionalism and sensitivity. Most importantly, Dr. Levy is a vet that cares about my cats. I have had a really bad experience with my other vet, and I really wanted a second opinion, as to why I even reached out to Dr. Levy. Dr. Levy really relates to my animals and I can tell she cares about how they are treated and what happens to them. All around, for my hectic NYC lifestyle, Dr. Levy makes my quality of life and my cats' quality of life better. I would strongly suggest her to anyone.

Dr. Levy is great!!! My family and I are so lucky to have found her. My cat was initially taken to another veterinarian in the Bronx because we wanted our cat's tumor examined since she kept scratching and licking it causing it to bleed. A couple of years ago we were told that the tumor was not cancerous but we wanted to make sure that this was still true. In addition, our cat also needed a nail trimming because she had ingrown nails that hindered her walking. Our cat is about 21 years old and for the most part healthy. However, when our cat was taken to the veterinarian in the Bronx, the veterinarian informed my sister that Delia was dehydrated and that rather than trim her nails and give her treatment she should be euthanized. In fact the veterinarian wanted to euthanize Delia as soon as possible.

When I got home that night my mother was saddened by the news and did not know what to do. I looked into my cat's eyes and they were very lively. Furthermore, Delia was eating 3 times a day. How could this vet want to euthanize a cat that still had some life in her?

The next morning I was at work and a co-worker recommended that I contact Dr. Levy. What initially caught my intention was that Dr. Levy made house calls. When I spoke to Dr. Levy on the telephone I was very impressed because I got this overwhelming feeling that my cat was going to be fine. Euthanizing Delia was not the first option coming out of Dr. Levy's mouth.

My family quickly fell in love with Dr. Levy when she came to my home in the Bronx. She provided Delia with all the treatment that she did not receive from the veterinarian that wanted to euthanize her. Delia was given fluid therapy, antibiotics, nail trimming for her ingrown nails, paw and wound treatment, and injections. In addition, Dr. Levy instructed my sister on how she should administer fluid therapy to Delia for 20 days. Dr. Levy also showed my sister how to treat Delia's wounds for proper healing. Dr. Levy was patient and gentle throughout the whole process. It was evident to see that Dr. Levy cares about the animals she treats and it shows in her work because she gives a 100%.

I am happy to say that Delia is back on her feet and she is more lively than ever!! Furthermore, her wounds are healing nicely. The tumor that Delia kept scratching has healed very well and is no longer bleeding. If it was not for Dr. Levy, Delia would not be alive!!!! Dr. Levy was worth every penny!!! I highly recommend Dr. Levy to anyone who wants high quality service from someone who really cares.

Thank you so much Dr. Levy!!!!

You can never be too careful who you let treat your pets. I aways thoroughly check out anyone before they treat my 7-year-old black Lab or my 12-year old Persian. Luckily, I found who I think may just be the best vet in NYC and she does house calls! It couldn't be more convenient to have the vet show up at your door. Dr. Levy. was confident, thorough, and kept my animals calm throughout the visit. I couldn't be more pleased. Will definitely use her in the future!
