Called them, and was told service charge is $79 to show up and evaluate Problem with my electric drier. $79 to be credited toward repair if I excepted estimate, If I did not want work performed I would still be charged the $79. I agreed. Tech's (2) showed up on time, evaluated problem, and was given an estimate of over $190. It needed what looked like a $ 15 part ( plastic joint and metal plate) When I complained about the rediculousprice they lowerd it to $164.31 plus tax Total $177.87. I paid $ 199 for the drier new 7 years ago. Total time spent at my house was approx 1.5 hours.

Mr. Michael Corrigan of Mr. Appliance helped me with the first condenser problem I had with my Vinotemp wine keeper in April, 2009. He was excellent, so I called back and asked for him when a new problem developed in August. I can't say enough good about his diligence. My Vinotemp unit is more than 10 years old. Mr. Corrigan called Vinotemp before he left the first time to make sure I ordered the correct part. He discussed the repairs in April and August/September with the chief engineer of the manufacturer in California to get details about the older model of unit that I had. In the end, I did have to send my condenser to California. Mr. Corrigan made sure that my remounted condenser worked properly and showed me how to adjust it. I also want to mention how helpful Amber Duty was handling all my calls and e-mails in April and August/September. I always felt as though I was getting very personal service. You may use this reference and recommendation to confirm with Vinotemp that you are a reliable subcontractor for repairs to their units in Austin, Texas. Thank you.
