This triple-level Barnes, located in the westside pavilion mall, is almost like a cylinder in its design. Their selection at first seems to be limited but you just have to ask around for what you need and find your way.

This Barnes and Noble branch by the Westside Pavillion is a great place to relax and browse books. I bought a rare book on Prague and the store has a nice selection of travel books, stationary, and bargain buys. Classics are sold for less than seven dollars and the staff is very helpful. The bookstore is a nice place to lounge around on a lazy sunday afternoon and an antidote to the mall next door.

PROS: Bright architecture

Located at the Westside Pavillion, this Barnes opens up to the rest of the shopping center and is reachable via decent parking, both in a structure and (less so) curbside. Quiet location for study or reading, and recommended for shoppers of Westside Pavillion or the general area who need a peaceful place to go once in a while.

I went into Barnes & Noble to get a few books for my husband who is an avid reader. I asked the sales person to recommend some books on literature and he was very friendly and helpful. He recommended some great books and even told me the backgrounds of each and every book he suggested. I told him that I'm a big Amy Tan fan and he walked me to that aisle and we had a great discussion about her work. I completed my great trip to Barnes & Noble by walking over to their Starbuck coffee shop and got myself a nice warm vanilla latte. Good experience!

The Barnes and Noble bookstore at the WEstside Pavilion is one of my all-time favortie bookstores. The layout of the store is fantastic, being stacked to three stories with a logical layout of the book sections. This layout helps with sound and crowd control. There is a great assortment of magazines which I always feel free to peruse without pressure. There are full-panel glass windows with nearby chairs, making reading ideally comfortable. The variety of books is very good, and the staff is wonderful when helping you order books not stocked. A Starbucks Cafe is surprisingly appealing, and you can sit at a table or take your coffee around with you in the store. Really, this is not just a good store but a nice general experience- you can spend hours here!
