(As the title says, this is a law firm, not a medical clinic the way it's listed on Insider Pages.)
I am a DC and MD attorney who interviewed at this firm for a full-time associate position in July 2012. When I arrived, it was 80 degrees inside, a mere 10 degrees cooler than it was outside. The receptionist sat me in a small conference room which contained chipping paint, fake houseplants, and a dilapidated desk. They clearly don't care about their image.
I waited over 30 MINUTES for the interviewers to see me. One of the firm's associates, Christina, walked in without my resume and didn't even shake my hand until I offered mine. A few minutes later, one of the partners of the firm, Rob/Robinson, walked in (also without my resume) and sat silently while Christina conducted the majority of the interview. He asked my salary requirements and one question about my ability to drum up business, but otherwise sat there like a statue. You would think the partner of the firm wouldn't let a lackey do all the talking for him.
The interview took a grand total of 10 MINUTES. In case you lost count: I waited 30 minutes in an poorly air conditioned, ugly room for a 10 minute perfunctory interview. Christina concluded this farce by saying "we'll let you know" and rushed out the door. Neither interviewer shook my hand on the way out until I offered mine first, and they didn't offer me their business cards. Clearly, they didn't want to interview me, let alone hire me, which leads me to believe that they had zero involvement in the resume screening process.
This is one of the least professional law firms I've ever seen. If this is how they treat lawyers, imagine how they treat clients. Don't bring your business to this two-bit law firm.
