I went to Azalea Skin Treatment. I had a spot biopsied. Was told by nurse practitioner that it was nothing. Came back basal cell. Never take their opinion if you really suspect something is going on. I felt like they left me in the dark about the surgery as far as what to expect. Suppose they do it everyday and thinks everyone else does to. I was very pleased with the results of my surgery. Do not like their no show policy fee. It would be OK if they would consider your time as well. I have been 3 times and each time had to wait, which cost me money because I was being docked for pay by not getting back to work within my allotted time.

I took my 2yr old daughter in for a scalp condition. I asked to set an appointment with the doctor, but instead they had a nurse see us?? The nurse, Cathy Poole, barley looked at my daughter's scalp. She seemed scared to examine her, even thought she was wearing gloves. She finally prescribed a medication that cost $120 dollars, which I'm sure they get a ""kick-back"" from. I attempted to contact Nurse Pool several times for a generic alternative, she NEVER returned my phone calls. The pharmacy also tried to contact Nurse Poole to confirm the dosage, and they too NEVER recieved a returned phone call. I finally had to call and plead with the receptionist to have someone contact the pharmacy to confirm the dosage prescribed. My daughter went almost a week without medicine, and her condition became worse. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS OFFICe EVER AGAIN!!!! THEY ARE VERY UNORGANIZED!!

I have visited Azalea Skin Treatment three times over the past five years.

I have always been very pleased with the medical attention I receive. The staff takes time to understand the issue and provide treatment. They also provide timely follow-up to testing issues-a welcome change I haven't received before.

I regret I'm not better with names. Kim was my attending nurse and was very professional and kind.

The PA that assisted me during one visit couldn't have done better.

The doctor is top notch and took time to answer all of my questions.

All in all, going to the doctor is never pleasant, but I'm very pleased with the service I received.

Unfortunately, I do concur that the initial receptionist was not very friendly but the waiting time was short and the medical staff does a good job.

I recommend this business.

Had an appointment scheduled at 4:30, after driving to the appointment the front office rudely informed me that my appointment was at 3:30 even though I had the handwritten card to prove what was supposed to be scheduled at 4:30. Waiting room was packed, obviously they overbook for such a small office. I was offered an appointment a month out. Wrote email to voice frustration and received form letter type email which didn't make me feel any better about the situation.

I was very lucky--through word of mouth--to find this great skin treatment team. I see Cathy Poole every six months for mole scans, and I have had several moles surgically removed by Dr. Ketcham. Due to my genetic history, I battle psoriasis and potential melanoma. Unfortunately, my close relative already lost his fight with melanoma. I am very selective when it comes to dermatologists because untreated melanoma ends in death. I am proud to rate this medical center with five stars, and I sincerely thank each member of this staff for their kindness, expertise, patience, and never-ending determination to keep me alive and well. These are the medical experts I want by my side as I face the uncertain health challenges of my future. I know I will not walk down this road alone. I have nothing negative to say about this staff, and I do not remember any long waits in the lobby. If you find yourself waiting in the lobby a while at Azalea, keep in mind that just beyond those closed doors, Dr. Ketcham and staff are making every effort to save someone else's life, and excellent medical care is worth the wait!

I have been twice and both times were good experiences- once for a rash and the other for a mole check. The wait is comparable to every other doctor's office I have been to (much better than urgent care). I was in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes at the end of the day. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Pros: easy to get appointments, helpful staff

Cons: not too long with the Dr.

I went in the office for an itching, irritated, sore scalp that's causing hair loss. The nurse pratictioner barely looked at my scalp, hardly moved the hair around to get a good look. Asked me questions about symptoms I plain as day told her I did not have then turned around and wrote me a prescription for a condition I have no symptoms of. It was a total waste of money.

Pros: I did wait long before being serviced

Cons: Didn't feel like the attending physician was competent

I waited almost 1.5 hours for my new patient appointment. No one said a word to me. Another man that had been there longer than me asked when he was going back and the woman at the front replied rudely that they were running behind.
