I have given John Barnes several decent jobs in the past. Initially his quality was good and so was his service. This last time I gave him two cars to retint. It took him almost 6 hours and on one car the customer sat and waited patiently watching John constantly on his phone. He and his son were on the phone talking the entire time that they were on the job site. I have my employees as witnesses and even commenting about talking on the phone being a lack of concentration. Both jobs were completed John got paid and both vehicles were left with interiors covered in tint shavings all over the place. While his tint work held up nicely one of the vehicles had the wrong shade of tint in the back window on both sides. I called and scheduled to have them fixed on two occasions. Twice John Barnes did not show up for those scheduled appointments or call to apologize and reschedule. On one of those two appointments I even had a new job for John to do in addition to correcting his mistake on the past job. The new customer was disappointed in me because he left his car at my shop and John never showed up for the install hence the customer didnt get his tint. Well I called a third time and have not heard back from John. I told John very nicely in my last voice message I wasnt sure what was wrong or why he was not happy with my shop since we have been giving him as much work as we could when requests for a great tint man were asked for by my own customers. My impressions of Johns business are that he must be struggling through some difficult times and while I wish him the best his work ethics are appauling and his professionalism is deplorable. I have since found a new tint shop and am working on building a re poar with that new company. John really needs to rethink his business practices. His poor business practices reflected on me and my customers who I assured John would take very good care of them and he did great work. Times have truly changed and so has John Barnes ways of doing business.
