Wow! That's all I can say! We have done winter wine tours in the past with limousines but NEVER have we had such a perfect time! Our driver was great! We loved our limousine and the driver James showed us how all the controls worked and filled the bar with fresh ice and extra cups and had all the fancy lights glowing! We went to 4 wineries and although the wine itself was soooo good, we had just as much fun getting in and out of the limousine! Thank you, James and Renaissance Limousine! We are looking forward to a nice summer wine tour! Thank you to the office staff too....very easy to make a reservation!

I used Renaissance Limousine for my sister's birthday and I am so glad I did! We have used other companies and Renaissance was the BEST so far! Our driver Jim was not only on time, but EARLY! He very politely went over the rules for the night, showed us how all the controls worked and we were on our way! We weren't sure where all the clubs were Downtown but he knew and all the ideas he gave us were perfect! We heard from a friend that Jim was a great driver and we should ask for him.....so glad he was available! I HIGHLY recommend Jim and Renaissance....very easy to make reservation with no hassles!

I had reserved limousine service as a surprize for my daughter's wedding on 9-25-10. The limo was to transport the bridal party from the Lodge at Geneva On the Lake to a hair salon in Painesville and then back to the lodge. My contract stated I had service from 10 am to 2 pm. At 10:07 am I called the limo service and was advised the limo would be there at 10am. I informed it was after 10am and she repsonded she would contact him and call me back.
I called again in 10 minutes and left a message.
I called at 10:25am and she reported she had not yet reached the driver. I then received a call from the salon and was advised if more than 30 minutes late we were not guaranteed service. We had 9 appointments scheduled for 10:30 am.
At 10;30 am I left a message cancelling service as we were driving to the salon.
At approxiamtely 11:30 am a limo arrived at the salon. He parked out front and I went out to question if it was our limo and if so why. He stated he was late secondary to an antique car show and a festival in Geneva. I advised we had driven to the salon and requested a refund of my deposit.
On 9/27/10 I called the service and was advised the manager was out of town. I emailed a Timothy Garret who had confirmed my reservation and he responded by email that someone would contact me.
Once again I have had no response and noted a credit of only $37.50 of $250.00 from the limo company on 10/1/10. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB.
Not only did they ruin a surprize, Renaissance Executive Limo believes they are justified in charging for a service that never occurred.
I would never recommend this service.

While we all fit, we had to separate into two limos. The whole idea as keeping the wedding party together. They said it was due to a broken air conditioner in the limo bus.

From reading these other reviews, it seems that the air conditioner has been a problem for quite some time. I feel that I was lied to so they could make a sale. I regret not reading these reviews sooner.

Please don't make the same mistake I did. Do not use Renaissance Limo.

Renaissance Limo is terrible, has horrible customer service and the driver was rude and didn't know where she was going. We got married on Sept. 13, the day of Hurricane Ike, and they sent a limo with a huge hole in the roof, where an emergency exit or skylight would be. Apparently, the door was gone so they (AND WHAT A JOKE THIS IS) covered it with a garbage bag, which clearly blew off. The driver refused to even call or offer an apology or discount and said, "we're ready to go whenever, we arrived on time." As we waited more than a half-hour for a limo bus without a hole in it.

Then, as soon as we got on the bus, she demanded payment and had the audacity to say, "you know gratuity is not included." That docked her tip by $40. When she got on the wrong highway and drove 15 miles out of the way, she lost more money.

Our wedding day was a wonderful day and the only dark spot was Renaissance Limos. I would not recommend them to anyone. And they don't even deserve one star.

We strongly do NOT recommend this limo company to anyone! On every occassion that we spoke with the staff, EVERYONE was rude, could care less, and short tempered...acting put out and impatient with the customer. We hired this limo company for photos on our wedding day. A week prior to the event we faxed them all the locations we planned to go and in the order. THe day before they called to verify these were still the correct locations and we said 'yes'. While they showed up on time and were polite, their drivers got us lost in terrible neighborhoods, went the WRONG way down ONE WAY streets to turn around, and went 30 minutes the wrong way, and we had to come 30 minutes back. It being our wedding day, tried not to get too worked up about it, and had alotted enough time for photos, that we weren't late to our ceremony. Our best man asked for the limo drivers names as to not cause a scene and we, the bride and groom thought surely we will resolve this at another time. They blamed the groom for the wrong directions on the spot. All my husband did was ask, "do you know where you're going?" Anyhow...we have called on 3 seperate occassions to speak to someone...anyone. NO ONE has apologized, we gave a $100 tip in advance, that was our mistake, but we want back, and no one will help us. We ask to speak to managers and owners to discuss the problem and they won't give us names, and almost hang up on us. YOu can clearly tell it is not a professional environment, and it is all gossip because no matter when we call or who we speak to it's "oh....you guys, our driver's mapquested those directions, it's not our fault mapquest was wrong!" When we say we didn't pay mapquest for their innocorrect directions, we paid them and provided them with all locations IN ADVANCE! THEY COULD CARE LESS! WE SPENT OVER $600 ON THIS LIMO COMPANY AND ALL WE WANT IS A DAMN APOLOGY AND SOMEONE TO ACKNOWLEDGE OUR DISSATISFACTION WITH OUR SERVICE ON OUR WEDDING DAY! AND NO ONE WILL EVEN BE POLITE TO US!
