It??s appears ??aurangsani? (review dated April 19, 2011) has never actually had any service done by Swick to have made such untruthful allegations. Swick has been voted the Marquette area ??Reader??s Choice Best Plumbing & Heating? business the last five years straight, and for good reason. Simply check the customer testimonials on our website for an accurate and legitimate representation of our services.

Swick never charges a ??drive-up fee? for local estimates, and may only charge a small fee if the estimate location is far out of their normal service range (which is rather large). If a fee is charged, as is the case with service calls, the customer is ALWAYS informed of this first. Swick has a strict ??up-front pricing? policy for absolutely all work done, so there are never any surprises.

Swick technicians are the best trained and most knowledgeable in the area. They attend weekly training sessions where they??re constantly learning more about new technology and products. They??re also NATE and Nexstar certified ?? and all new employee candidates are thoroughly and scrupulously vetted. Our technicians never ask the customer to leave during a service call and actually enjoy answering questions and explaining what they??re doing.

The Swick ??Gold Star Service Plan? includes a meticulously detailed 18-point heating or cooling system inspection and tune-up, not simply ??brushing off dirt?. The tune-ups are required to ensure the best, safest, and most efficient performance out of any furnace, boiler, or air conditioner. An annual Gold Star maintenance visit also increases the longevity of critical home systems and keeps any manufacturer??s warranty valid. In addition to the tune-ups, Gold Star customers are also first in line for service calls, both regular and emergency, with no overtime charge for emergency after-hours service, and receive a 10% discount on any heating/cooling or plumbing repair. The price quoted by ??aurangsani? for this supposed Gold Star job is also incorrect, our Gold Star price is $149 (for natural gas systems).

If our service technicians are ever held up on a job longer than expected, the customer scheduled next in line is promptly notified of the situation. Occasional delays are inevitable, but we do our best to both avoid delays and, when they happen, make them as short as possible. Any customer concerns brought to our attention are immediately addressed and resolved.

For over 30 years, Swick Home Services has provided the highest-rated and most reliable repair and replacement services in the central Upper Peninsula and we??re proud of the great service we offer to our thousands of satisfied customers.
