As a mom who was up in the air about sending her son to preschool at all, I can now say that I'm glad that I did, and beyond glad that we chose RUJEC.

From the quality of the teachers, assistants and director, to the play-based curriculum that grows with the interests of the children, to the wonderful facility - it is an all around fantastic school and community.

One of the many special touches is the daily e-mail from the teachers detailing the activities of the day. (Extremely valuable if your preschooler tends to answer the question of "What did you do in school today?" with "Played.") There is also a weekly e-mail of pictures from the classroom. A really nice tool for sparking discussion with your child. And also - just plain cute pictures!

I could say a million positive things about the school, but the most telling is that my son has a smile on his face when he's dropped off and a smile on his face when he's picked up. You can't ask for a better endorsement than that!

I fully expect that we'll remain friends with my son's preschool classmates despite the differing elementary schools to which they may move. That kind of long-lasting community is a treasure in itself.

A fantastic school regardless of religious affiliation. It works very well for our interfaith family.

This is a truly exceptional preschool. They have many of the top teachers in the area and are up-to-date on educational trends. It is play based learning, which studies have shown is what children age 3 to 5 need. They are located in a beautiful building, with a playground (used on all nice days), field and children participating vegetable garden. Snacks are healthy and often organic (and never with high fructose corn syrup or dyes).
My children, when attending RUJEC, couldn't wait to go to school each day. The one now in Kindergarten was well prepared, but says to her sister, "You are so lucky. You go to the best school in the world." I think she may be right.

RUJEC teaches Jewish values and traditions but is NOT only for Jewish children.

Call and come visit. They believe in allowing parents to see anytime, not special "visiting days".
