Dr. Tony Rocklin and his team are knowledgeable and caring. They make rehabilitating your body almost fun. Through a combination of warmth and tough love they guided me to complete recovery from five surgeries. I felt supported and confident in their hands and my belief in their skill has paid off handsomely. I was lucky to find Tony and his colleagues. In the past I've wasted my time with physical therapists who didn't know as much or care as much as these very talented folks.

I was recommended to Therapeutic Associates by my doctor. After a serious basketball injury, which required surgery, I hobbled into the Therapeutic Associates office on crutches. I had never undergone any extensive physical therapy and did not know quite what to expect. Presently, I'm walking without limitations, improving even more every day and am so happy about it!

Therapeutic Associates (Tony, Catie and the rest of the crew) are absolutely wonderful! They are professionals who obviously enjoy their work and that, in particular, translates to a positive healing experience. Does anyone want to go to physical therapy? I certainly did not. But it is your one, precious body and when you need to go you want to make sure that a caring, smiling face is backed up by incredible knowledge and the understanding of human spirit. That is what the downtown office of Therapeutic Associates embodies.

A few more things I thought were also great: the central downtown location, the in-office facilities can be a private room or an open space, the equipment is better then gym level (and you are actually considered a member of the Bally's gym while you are a client!), automated email/phone call appointment reminders, they educate [you and their staff] in an ongoing fashion and are fastidious about cleanliness.

My injury was serious, so I've spent a chunk of time there and have seen a number of people come through the office. There are both young and old, men and women, all shapes/sizes and wide variety of minor aches to major pains. Most importantly, the downtown office of Therapeutic Associates provided me with kind mental assurance and exceptional physical healing. I'm confident they would do the same for you.

It seems that Citysearch does not allow me to add a link here, but check the office out by searching Downtown Portland Therapeutic Associates or find them on Facebook (PDXPT).
