The review by Pwong 2387 says it all for me. I give them one star too. Do not go to them. They turned me down by FedEx letter and when I call to try and find out, I get the answer ""Pat is not there"". We gave them our money and we don't hear from them for weeks. Sue Lemmon, our caseworker, wouldn't respond to our emails for weeks. How long does it take to reply to an email? A quick email takes like 2 minutes, tops. Then she tells us they're meeting about our homestudy, and leaves us in limbo for several days about the decision and then I call Pat Bridges (Executive Director) for the decision, left her several messages...She had the nerve to go out of town and not return my messages and decides to do the cowardly way of FedExing us the letter instead of calling us to tell us in detail. The letter didn't tell us in detail and of course, when I called back to speak to Pat Bridges, I got the famous runaround ""She's not here"".....I wish I had met my son's speech therapist before I had gone to Caring Adoptions because she told me a few weeks ago that Gladney and Arrow Adoption Agency were the best and most wanted agencies that her friends used but alas, like PWONG2387 said, we were stuck with them. We got a bad feeling about Caring Adoptions after not hearing from them for weeks and we wanted to go to Gladney or Arrow and not work with Caring Adoptions. They seem to be very, very insensitive. Trust me and PWONG2387, Stay away from Caring Adoptions.

Too bad we actually had to give them ONE star! \n\nWhere do I begin? Lets start with phone call number one It took nearly three weeks to actually get anyone to speak with me about their programs (this should have been a red flag). We spoke with a few people in the agency and agreed we would put our trust in them after researching MANY MANY MANY agencies across the country (including all of the larger agencies). We felt confident that they knew what they were doing (our mistake). Part of our appeal to them was that they limited the number of adoptive parents in the waiting pool. \n\nWe send them a large check and we waited to make sure they got it no call we call them no answer leave a message no call we wait DING the check cleared. NO NOTICE that they received our check that was a LARGE SUM OF MONEY!! (Red flag number 2) We should have gone with our gut and canceled the check right then!\n\nWe were told of all these upcoming situations and they have all vanished in mid air. Funny how they vanished after we PAID ALL OF OUR MONEY! \n\nAre you expecting to be shown to birth parents here? HA, no you wont be shown any opportunities. Why? Because there are NONE!! You just get to sit and wait for the phone call that is NEVER going to take place. \n\nThis place is so fancy their website no longer exists! That is nice right? Yet they told us they mainly advertise through the internet. But they dont currently have a website up and running. So how are they advertising again? \n\nDont do it. Even if you are looking at the cost and thinking this is affordable. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, wait no YOU GET NOTHING FOR WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! Wait and save up the money you need to go to a better adoption agency. \n\nThis process is a rollercoaster as it is and you dont need the stress of a REALLY BAD agency. They have no interest in you as an adoptive parent because they know they have you pinned once they have the initial fee. Choose a place that actually works with birthparents or actually supports you as an adoptive family because YOU have needs that need to be met as well. \n\nGood luck on your adoption journey. Please pray for us as we struggle to find the answers we need to deal with this HORRIBLE agency. \n\nP.S there is one other review of this agency out on the internet and guess what, it is a bad review.
