I would not recommend that anyone buy a vehicle from Fisher Honda. I recently leased a 2014 Pilot from them. When we first saw the car it had a clear mask put on the vehicle, for which we were charged $400 for. I later found out that I could've had a third party install an 18" mask for $270 instead of the $400 I was charged for a 12" mask. Shortly after we brought the car home we discovered that the clear mask was peeling up around the mirrors and on the drivers side fender. I returned to Fisher and had the problem areas repaired. I inspected the fixed areas and everything looked good other that a few bubble, which I was told was normal and that they would go away. Two hours after returning home we noticed that the mirrors and the fender would peeling up even more than before. I called the service center and asked for my money back on the clear mask so that I could have it done somewhere else. Since it was a Saturday I was told that I would have to wait until Monday to get an answer. After receiving no call on Monday I called the service center and was told that I wold receive a call from Craig Fisher, the owner. He didn't return my call until Tuesday. He said that he would only refund half of the money, $200. When I told him I wanted a full refund he refused and said "this stuff just doesn't peel off." He stated that many times. When I asked him if he was calling me a liar he said "if that's the way you want to take it." Eventually, I was refunded the full $400. I wish the story stopped there.

After receiving my refund I took my car to a local shop that I have used in the past. I again asked him to remove the problem areas. When the installer/owner peeled off the clear mask on the mirrors and fender he noticed that when the original clear mask was installed that they scratched my paint with a razor when cutting out the pattern.I immediately took the car back to Fisher. There I met with Scott Chatten, the general sales manager. Scott down played our concerns and said that the scratches would just buff out, which he agreed to do at no charge. When I asked him what he would do if the scratches didn't come out, he refused to answer the question stating "that's not going to happen." He repeatedly told us us that we were making a big deal about of nothing and that "this is so minor it's not even funny."

I took the car back on a Monday to have them buff out the scratches. Scott called me when it was done, and when I asked if everything looked good he said yes. When my wife and I pulled up we immediately started inspecting the car. Scott came outside as we were inspecting the vehicle and we told him that the scratches were still there. he told us that they would not do anything else until they spoke with the owner who is on vacation. He also said that since we took it to another place to repair the clear mask that they aren't sure if it was them who caused the damage. After, we got angry and I'll admit some choice words were used he threatened to call the police. It's people like Scott Chatten that make people distrust car salesmen.

Since leaving we discovered two spots on the car that were made worse. It looked like the clear coat had been burned through on one fender and they completely removed paint from my bumper.

We have filed a formal complaint with Honda and the Better Business Bureau.

I had the good fortune of working with Sales Manager Phil Robinson at Fisher Auto while looking for a used car. They currently did not have any cars within my price range, but Phil took the time to help me value my car to sell privately, gave me buying tips, and checked in every so often to see if I'd found anything, in a very professional and unobtrusive way. I look forward to working with him in the future to buy my next car, I wouldn't go anywhere else. He set himself, and Fisher Honda, apart from everywhere else by leaps & bounds. I just bought a Honda Civic Coupe from Fisher and Tom Ainsworth helped me with a new key. It was fast, reasonably priced, and Tom is so nice and helpful! Tom had been helping my husband with his old Accord for probably longer than I have known him (my husband!).The service department took excellent care of that Accord for 12 years. They always did a good job! Also- my husband surprised me with the Civic and had a wonderful sales experience with Thomas Tomas. Fisher Honda is the best dealership we have ever used!

He understands the responsibilities he has to his customers and his sense of professionalism has always been quite evident. I'm always greeted by name when I return for service and the information Brown gives is consistently accurate in terms of nature of service, cost, and completion time. This attention to customer satisfaction does not change from time to time, and that's one of the reasons it's easy for us to recommend Fisher Honda and very specifically, Brownlow Townsend. CWH

This is a multi-purpose letter regarding numerous experiences I have had with Fisher Honda.

Initially, our first encounter with your dealership was during the search for a vehicle as a gift for my wife of 32 years for providing more than a year of loving care and support while I battled cancer. Incidentally, we won that battle. My wife had owned an Acura in the past and my original intent was to visit your competitor next door. However, you had a couple of Acura MDX vehicles positioned strategically in the front corner of the entry towards both dealerships. Bypassing your competitor and inquiring about the MDX models at your dealership lead to the introduction to Mr. Phil Robinson. It is very easy to refer to Phil on a fist name basis because of his approach to providing tremendous detail regarding each vehicle but more importantly the friendly nature with which he deals with a customer. Phil provided a level of trust and confidence with a personal touch. While Phil has become more of a friend with his continuous but timely contact, I have grown to understand that that is the culture of the entire staff at Fisher Auto, Inc.

The entire process for the purchase of the Acura MDX from start to finish took less than two hours. As a result, I was able to drive the Acura to our home that day to surprise my wife. To say the least she was startled to come out to a new vehicle. After her initial response ??are you serious?? she said the color combination and options were exactly what she would have selected stating, ??This will be great with the grandchildren?. It has been perfect.

The purchase of the Acura MDX was in February of 2010. On December 4, 2010, a Sunday, we traveled to Boulder for the day and, as it would be, stopped by your dealership. There was a 2011 Honda Ridgeline on the lot that captured our attention. The next morning I contacted Phil to get information. He persuaded me to come in and take it for a test drive. Not sure if I would like the ride of a ??truck? after driving BMW??s and Mercedes for the past decade I thought a 4WD vehicle might be good for the snow and was open to the Ridgeline because of the reputation of Honda. Phil did it again. Within an hour the process was completed and I was given the keys to my 2011 Ridgeline. While I enjoy talking to and seeing Phil, not sure how many times a year I can come by to look at your vehicles.

While waiting for Phil and your staff to complete the delivery inspection process I entered your in-dealership drawing for the Worlds Largest Christmas Stocking loaded with gifts that was approximately 10 feet in height. On December 23, 2011 I received an email from Phil informing me that you had drawn a name and that I was the winner. This was very generous on the part of you and your dealership. We have been blessed and had completed all Christmas and holiday purchases for our grandchildren, family and friends. However, your generosity of giving away so many special gifts for all ages provided the opportunity for Mona and I to donate the gifts to children that are not so blessed sharing the special story of how we received the gifts and the involvement of Fisher Auto, Inc.

We know that you value and participate deeply in community equity. Mona and I would like to personally participate in adding gifts for the stocking next year, especially if some of the gifts can be directed to less fortunate children.

Thank you for having a professional and comfortable dealership with individuals that make the auto purchasing and servicing process so enjoyable. We refer all friends to Phil Robinson because we know that he will treat them with dignity and respect. We are certain that Phil will welcome them as friends just as he has done with us.

The guys at Fisher are a lot different than any other dealer I've been to. I didn't have to play any games when working with them. I told them my price and they worked with me to get me the best bang for my buck. They are very honest and willing to tell me everything about the car I was interested in (the good and the bad). I test drove a bunch and narrowed it down and they weren't pushy when I needed more time to think and after coming back a week later we picked off where we left off and I was in and out of there with a new ride.

So naturally when I wanted another car I went to Fisher. They let me take it out by myself which I appreciate, because how can you get a real sense of how a car drives if you only make right turns? I bought the car, took it to my own mechanic to be checked out and they said the car was fine. Well, about a week later a large pulley fell off while I was driving. This wasn't Fisher's fault, when the timing belt had been changed by the previous owner some hidden bolt hadn't been tightened properly, but Fisher took the car back and told me if the problem wasn't fixable they would give me a credit in the amount that I had paid for the car. Luckily the car could be fixed, I think the service department replaced about 9 parts, and it was all FREE! If I ever need another car I am definitely going back to Fisher.

We feel like we got a fair price on the new car and also our trade in. We've been going to Fisher for 8 years for our normal car servicing and have been very pleased with that department as well. Everyone at Fisher is friendly and believe in outstanding customer service. We highly recommend them without reservation.

I highly recommend Fisher Honda and their Internet Salesman, Jeff Tomko. When I purchased a 2011 Civic, I was very pleased with the experience with Fisher and Jeff. I am very thorough and analytical. Before I went to Fisher, I had done my research. I knew that the Civic was highly rated by Consumer Reports and other new car research sources. I had also done research on the retail price of the Civic -- the MSRP -- as well as the wholesale price of the Civic -- the amount which Honda, the manufacturer, charges dealers for the cars. Before talking with Jeff, I had obtained prices from three auto brokers. Then I talked with Jeff and the price he gave me was better than the prices which the three brokers had given me. When I picked up the car at Fisher, Jeff
took plenty of time time to familiarize me with the Civic and with the dealership. Jeff and Jonathan Fisher, who handled all the paperwork, explained to me the other products and services, such as the extended warranty, which were available to me. There was absolutely no high pressure to buy these other products and services. When I asked a friend of mine where he purchased his
Honda CR-V, he highly recommended the Fisher dealership and Jeff, the Internet Salesman. I will recommend Fisher and Jeff to my friends without hesitation.

Before I went to Fisher, I had done my research. I knew that the Civic was highly rated by Consumer Reports and other new car research sources. I had also done research on the retail price of the Civic -- the MSRP -- as well as the wholesale price of the Civic -- the amount which Honda, the manufacturer, charges dealers for the cars. Before talking with Jeff, I had obtained prices from three auto brokers. Then I talked with Jeff and the price he gave me was better than the prices which the three brokers had given me. When I picked up the car at Fisher, Jeff
took plenty of time time to familiarize me with the Civic and with the dealership. Jeff and Jonathan Fisher, who handled all the paperwork, explained to me the other products and services, such as the extended warranty, which were available to me. There was absolutely no high pressure to buy these other products and services. When I asked a friend of mine where he purchased his
Honda CR-V, he highly recommended the Fisher dealership and Jeff, the Internet Salesman. I will recommend Fisher and Jeff to my friends without hesitation.

If I could give zero stars I would. Phil Robinson and Justin in financing made us feel like we were criminals. It was absolutely shocking and appalling the way they spoke to and treated us. They questioned the legitimacy of our loan asking to see document after document. Each time we provided them with the info. When they demanded to see the check, it was by saying "I don't know you from Joe, show me your check." The issue they had with the check kept changing after I showed them the requested documentation. First it was whether the check was real. Then it was whether the loan was finalized. So on and so on. They even demanded to see my loan paperwork which is truly not their business. The check was the only thing they needed to validate. Comments regarding my interest rate and an offer to talk to their finance guy was unethical. Justin continually gave us examples of customers that had frauded them in the past and related them to our situation. Justin even called the company the loan was through who told him if the check was present, the loan is valid. Not good enough for him though. The next day, my bank rep tried to reach Justin to resolve the issue and he told me he didn't feel it was necessary to call them back. They made us feel like criminals while they allowed other employees to stand around and watch and whisper. Completely unprofessional. I understand validating the check but they looked for excuses to not believe us. We took our LEGITIMATE check elsewhere needless to say.

***Follow up to the manager's comments. That's no excuse for intentionally making someone honest feel like a criminal. Why would you reference stories about being ripped off if you didn't think we were trying to do the same. You know now that we weren't I hope. The least Justin could have done the next day was a) treat me with respect and not interrupt when I tried to inquire as to why he wouldn't call the agent that set up the loan and b) call the agent. She was more than happy to get him the info he said he needed so he could call the number he insisted he had to call.

We also called ahead knowing we couldn't be there as early as expected. We were told that was no problem and they would be happy to stay and accomodate us. When we got there, it took 25 minutes for him to have the car ready for us to drive. That's not our fault.

I won't change my mind and your justification for acting like jerks doesn't change that. Terrible experience. Will never recommend.

Phil helped negotiate a reasonable purchase price and provided detailed comparative information. There is a nice "no-hassle" way Phil does business which made it easy to test-drive the vehicle and have it inspected. He took care of a minor problem after the sale right away, which was a pleasant experience. If you are looking for a new or used car, Phil is your man.
