.

Steve Davis has been my yoga instructor and massage therapist for almost two years. I like his yoga classes because he is very precise in demonstrating the asanas and comes around to help us in our postures. He also uses the Sanskrit names for the asanas along with the English. I have found that by learning the Sanskrit names, it helps me to remember the poses. For example, the Downward Facing Dog is Adho Mukha Shvasana (adho = down, mukha = face, shvana = dog). They just sort of slide the word asana in with the last word to name the pose. And he identifies the muscles that are used in the poses. Very cool.

As for massage therapy, Steve has been treating me for scoliosis in my back along with tight shoulders and neck. I have experienced VAST improvement in both areas. I'm one of his older clients (75) and I know those conditions are often not reversible.

The location at Bally's in Lake Oswego is very convenient.

As another of his clients said, "Steve is a real healer" and I agree totally!
