I Hired Bill Poon to provide me with a set of plans to remodel my home in Napa and to increase the sq footage and make some changes to an existing structure.
I was then taken for a ride by Bill Poon who charged me thousands of dollars and failed to do his research first on what would be required by the County of Napa Regarding the septic, road, etc. Mr. Poon conveniently failed to do his due diligence,if he had told me the obstacles in the beginning I would never had spent so much money with him. I often question if that was not planned since in his heavy agreement it states that will all be done first.
I asked that since it was taking so long if he could get me an idea of cost? So Mr. Poon proceeded to have at least 6 contractors (Maybe more) bid the project with a set of plans that were not even completed? the bids were about 300k more then Mr. Poon told me the project would be.

All through the process Mr. Poon continually invoked his designs that were not acceptable to my wife or I and each revision was at my expense.
Bill Poon took advantage of my lack of knowledge and then after I was submitted another invoice for several thousand more dollars I asked for Bill Poon to review the billing records with me and I got a complicated response that was not understandable. I asked for a more understandable explanation and that I was not paying the balance until the previous billing was sorted out, Bill Poon never responded to me.
