I know all the service reps and they are all awesome. I just love your dealership. I bought my car there. It's so easy and I never bring my car back for anything. (knock on wood) You have helped maintain a 10 year old car and I will always come back to you to keep it going. I love your product and your service. I recommend Volkswagen highly to all my friends and relatives. Good job!\r\n

Buying cars is always a painful battle between what you want and what the dealership wants you to have. Not at Jim Ellis, I was in and out the door with the vehicle of my choice in mere hours, and on my terms. I highly recommend Jim Ellis VW, and when you get there, ask for Jane.

I have never had such a bad experience as I had here. My sister and I went in looking for a Jetta and felt so unwelcome. We were given the runaround . We were there for literally 5 hours. I wanted to cry!\r\n\r\nDO NOT GO THERE!

Girard was persistent and helped me get to the right number for both parties. I have had offers from Honda equivalent to what I got for the Jetta but I was holding out for the Jetta because that was more of my preference(actually my daughters preference). I could have had the Honda a few weeks earlier. This is the 4th vehicle that I have purchased/leased from the Jim Ellis dealership and I have been pleased with all of them. I also want to single out the finance person that I spoke with. I'm sorry that I don't have his name but he took the time to explain the numbers even though I was in a hurry, that did not deter him from doing a very good job with giving me with all the possible options open to me and providing me with the chance to go with either a lease or a purchase.--Enrique Trinidad\r\n

I really liked working with Jason. He did a great a job of explaining all the features of the car and he was very knowledgeable on everything the Jetta TDI had to offer. I actually enjoyed the process compared to the last time I bought a car from a different dealership. It was a pleasure doing business with Jim Ellis I look forward to a great service relationship in the future.\n\nThanks, \nCurtis

""Fantastic experience! you are fortunate to have Jay (and Mike) on your sales team. He offers a wealth of knowledge without being overbearing and arrogant. Looked at the Routan at several other VW dealerships and Jay was and is the most helpful salesperson I have met. He's very pleasant and down to earth, making our experience very enjoyable.Would reccommend your dealership to everyone.--Ilana Kearns""

I did my research on line and went to Jay. I gave him my numbers which he met. I have never bought a car in 1 day, but I did this in 2.5 hours. I buy a car every 10 years, so when I buy I do much research. I figured I save $803 more at Jim Ellis than others who quoted.--Jerry Ward""

""Mike McGregor made my transaction very smooth and comfortable. I was a little leery of the long distance factor as I live in Colorado. Car was in much better shape than I hoped for being 8 years old. It was a consignment car which is obviously not as good a deal for you as regular sale but he gave me same attention as if it was. I sent letter to PCNA detailing my appreciation.--James DeLapp""

Pros: Personal, detailed attention, Honesty

The salesperson, Ms. Dailey was easy to work with, and very accommodating. My older son had bought a VW at the Cobb location, and was also very complimentary of that dealership. Car was delivered as promised, totally detailed, and a tank full of gas.

Mr. Ellis, Kenneth was wonderful to work with. He was intuitive about our wants and needs, and proactive. We were mentally prepared to buy, but you were our first VW dealership we went to, so we hadn't even looked around. The service was great, Kenneth was sincere and it just felt right. It was great to have the available computer to obtain insurance for the car on the spot. I honestly drove off with a big smile on my face. Zero buyer's remorse. Jim Ellis dealerships will be our first stop for any car in the future. We will be buying another one this year, so we will be back. Thanks for the experience! Cheers, DH

""My experience could not have been better. Thank you so much for including the rental car while my car is under warranty. It really makes a difference! Tyler could not have been nicer or more helpful. He was fantastic. I have raved to friends and family about the service from this visit. It wasn't just good, it was outstanding. Pros: Provided free rental car and made the whole process Easy

Cons: No cons

I am very pleased with the effort by your service staff to rectify the problem with my 2008 EOS. Wind noise through the drivers side window has been an ongoing irritation since I first purchased the vehicle. You had looked at it twice before and made an improvement but it still persisted. I brought it in most recen3tly to get it fixed ""for good."" You kept the car for over 2 weeks but its fixed! I especially appreciate being provided a loaner vehicle during the repairs. When it's time to replace the EOS, I will remember this fine customer service and will try to stay in the Jim Ellis family. Thanks to Lisa and the service staff for their hard work and follow-up.

From start to finish our entire experience was perfect! We found two vehicles on line, came in to view & test drive and left with a Jetta. Our entire time spent was 4 hours. There was no haggling, no games, it felt like we were buying from a family friend. We will most definitely purchase from Jim Ellis again! Congratulations on running a car dealership that does not feel like a dealership! Regards, Robert & Anne DeLorenzo""

Actually my mother owned a new beetle from Jim Ellis when they first came out. She was so happy with the service that when I was looking for a new car she recommended Jim Ellis because of the great service that she received. That is why I purchased a certified pre-owned Jetta from Jim Ellis because I knew that it would be reliable and that the staff would be honest people that I could trust.

Lisa is most often our service advisor, but anytime we are served by any other advisor, we are treated the same way, like family. I tell my Volkswagen friends that the very best way to take care of their cars is Jim Ellis service. We have bought ten Volkswagens from Jim Ellis since 1980. We have another one ordered now, a 2010 Golf. Kendall Lockerman

I have had 3 VWs. Jetta, Passat and now another Jetta. I love my VW. This time, however, I think I am just wearing this one out. I have had more than 3 issues in 2 years. The truck wouldnt shut and needed a part, the windows wouldnt roll up, and the lighter got a dime stuck and blew a fuse. Every time I took it to Jim Ellis in Atlanta, they took great care of me and had me driving home in hours. They give you quotes, work with you on what is urgent and what isn't. Most of all, they are just professional and honest. If you are looking to buy a VW, I say go for it....for over 14 years I have been happy.. low to maintain, gas efficient, and have all the goodies!

sorry, I meant to review the Cobb parkway one! But they both are owned by Jim Ellis! I took in my 2007 Jetta with 29000 miles on it that I had recently bought because it wasn't shifting smoothly. They to me that it was due to the motor mount that was (partially) broken. They called me and said come and look at it if you want, becasue it won't be covered under warranty. I took a mechanic with me who knew more about cars then me, we both noticed that the partially broken mount was not now completely brokene, and said it won't be covered under warranty when I questioned it, because I saw the new broken piece, they said they would fix it under warranty. When I went to pick up the car, they said we didn't do it under warranty, we did it in goodwill...like dealers know what goodwill is!!! Plus they never gave me the broken motor mount, I wonder why?! They day I was suppose to pick up my car, they told me my fan wasn't working either and that I couldn't drive for longer than a mile before my engine would heat up. Well I drove it 7 miles to my mechanic's shop and by the time I got there the fan was turned on. They are that dumb/rip off that they didn't wait for the car temperature to reach 190 in order for the fan to turn on. I also asked them to fix the window that was under warranty, which they didn't do...OOPS, they forgot..... They're nice to you while you get a service from them, even though I got a tuneup from them!!! but they run up your bill....I know their shop is empty due to bad economy, but this doesn't give them right to rip off and lie to people....Worst service, If you go for problems with your car that are under warranty, they make sure to find pr make problems that are not under warranty. Their technicians are clueless or maybe they act like they are. STAY AWAY, I went in driving my car, and they told me that I have to either tow it out of there or give them $950 to fix it! If you have to drive far to another dealership, do it, it's worth it!

My experience at Jim Ellis' service department was awful. I took my 2003 Jetta in for a flashing engine light, which my manual says is a catalytic converter problem. I am still under an extended bumper to bumper warranty. Jim Ellis' service reps told me it was worn spark plugs, and that they weren't covered under the warranty. When I explained that the spark plug problem seemed odd, since the problem came on all of the sudden, he insisted that that was the problem. When I asked if he would waive the diagnostic fee (which I've never had to pay before in the five times my lousy car has been in the shop) because of all of the problems I have had with the car and to keep me coming back, he stated that Mr. Ellis was only interested in making a profit. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he said that he'd been working there 6 years and knew what he was doing, and that his supervisor would only say the same thing. I had to ask 3 times to speak with his boss. When I suggested he was being rude, he said ""If you consider matter-of-fact rude, then I guess so."" His supervisor was no better--she only rationalized his behavior and said that I must have a personality conflict with him, that she could set me up next time with someone else.\r\n\r\nIt wasn't even about the fifty bucks--I was treated like garbage at Jim Ellis. I was even told by the head manager later that even if it wasn't my spark plugs, they would continue to charge me for repairs until they narrowed the problem down to one covered under my warranty. What a racket! Go anywhere else!

In Short
For the past decade or so, Volkswagen has been the car brand hip adults have gravitated towards. Be it with something that flaunts fuel efficiency (Jetta TDI diesel), hybrid sass (Tiguan) or luxury strut (Passat CC),…
