.

This is probably the most expensive vet in the county, charging almost twice as much for lab tests, etc. as other vets just down the road. In addition, Dr Susan Burger just doesn't seem to be able to make any sort of educated speculations without first doing over $100 in "blood work" on an animal.

I was taking my cat to her for 2 1/2 years, and during that time she botched a declawing (but still charged me $250 for a single claw), repeatedly refused to fax in prescriptions for flea medications to web site (insisting that I bring in the cat for a $40 check up first), etc. The final straw occurred when my cat was vomiting blood and she instructed her staff to not give me any information about the animal's condition or any possible prognosis unless I agreed to almost $500 worth of blood tests, x-rays, injections, etc. I rushed in and got my cat out of there as fast as possible and brought her elsewhere!
