Picked up a 2ct engagement ring in Dec 2011 built by Michael and his team and they did a fabulous job. I was shown many different stones and they held my hand through the process giving me honest feedback and opinions showing alot of patience. From the time I stepped in the building all the way to my return trip to have it resized I received first class treatment.. Thanks Waco Jewelers

This is exactly what a local jewelry store should be...helpful, well stocked and clean. i went there to buy a gift for my mother, they asked me ho much I had budgeted and found a ring that was way nicer than any of the others I had seen in that proce range. Thank you Waco Jewelers!! And Michael too!!

VERY UNSATISFACTORY CUSTOMER RELATIONS. I have not tried to purchase jewelry in over 15 years but did go to Waco Jewelers on November 16th 2009 to purchase a piece as a gift. The piece was presented as a gift on November 28th and it was not satisfactory. I returned the piece still in the box and never removed on November 30th which the store now has in their possession and was told that all they would do is give store credit. I explained that I was not going to buy jewelry anymore and that the no refund policy was not on any signs in the NEW STORE nor was I ever told this was a policy. It was on the receipt however the credit card receipt was stapled over this and I was not given these until I had already paid for the piece. When I spoke to Michael Habern the owner in the first week of December I was told that I would have to wait until after the holidays and then we could work it out. He had had an issue with a repair for a relative of mine and said this was the reason he did not resolve the issue with me then. I explained that I was the customer in question and not my relative and again was asked to wait until after the holidays to resolve this. I called the store on 1/7/2010 to give Michael ample time for the holidays and had to leave a message asking for a return call with no reply. Called again 1/8/10 and had to leave another message w/no reply. Called 1/12/10 and left a voice mail asking for a return call w/no reply. Called 1/14/10 and left message w/no reply. Called 1/18/10 and spoke to Pam who said she would talk to Michael and call me herself the next day, which did not happen. Called the last time on 1/20/10 and Michael answered the phone and after a short discussion Michael said that regardless of what he had said before, store credit was all he would do now. Very unprofessional business, service, and customer service. I have contacted other jewelry stores in Waco to find out what their return policies are and found that they are full refund up to 60 days and exchange from 60 to 90 days. This appears to be the norm for the reputable names in the area. I have, since this incident, checked with the Better Business Bureau and found that Waco Jewelers has a D- rating for unresolved complaint. If there was ever a need for jewelry it would be only through a reputable store to avoid undelivered promises.

With a name like Waco Jewelers, you would expect they excel at making, altering, and repairing jewelry. This idea, however, is far from reality. Their task, which they chose to accept, was to resize my wife's right hand ring. This ring consisted of a moderately sized stone, surrounded by micropave-set diamonds. Diamonds were also channel set half-way around the band. Two days past the week they told us it would take to make the alteration, we called and tried to find out why we had not received a call about the ring. The sales rep was very evasive and would not give a commitment about when the ring would be ready. Several days later when we demanded to speak to a manager, we were finally told the ring would be ready that day. BUT, we were told this by the girl at front. She would not let us talk to the manager. When we went in to pick up the ring, it was badly scratched/scarred along the setting. Waco Jewelers denied this was their fault, but agreed to make the repair. We were not permitted to actually talk to the jeweler, and the manager (if someone was actually there managing) would not come out from back.

In the seven years I have been dealing with Jewelers, I have not once received such poor service, nor have I been unable to talk to the jeweler directly ore even the manage/owner of the store. I do not know what sort of sillyness they have going on there, but this type of service is simply unacceptable . I will not at any point return to this store.

Waco Jewelers are totally unprofessional. I called to make an appointment to have two gemstones identified and was told to come on up (I live in Temple). When I got there, after a cursory look and no testing, I was told that my gemstones were not emeralds (I already knew they were not) and that they were probably fake. Then I was told the gemologist did not have time to do the testing and to come back after Christmas. I have called three times since then to make an appointment and have not been able to get one yet, just today being told to come in after the first of the year because they are busy. I know they are busy, that's why I would like to make an appointment! I have many pieces that I would like to have set, but after this experience I believe I will find a professional establishment.

Purchased a birthstone ring for my 8 yr old granddaughter. Had looked everywhere and found nothing that came close to what I wanted for her. I explained what I had in mind and the price. There was nothing on the floor and the lady assisting me went back and spoke with the jeweler, who said he would put something together -- he had an idea what I was looking for. I left and came back in about a hour and it was worth the wait! The little ring was exactly what I wanted and the price was what I had set aside to pay. My granddaughter has a lovely keepsake!

My sister and I went here to look for our mom a mothers day ring. The people were really helpful and showed us many different kinds of rings available. They had great prices. They had a very clean store and their jewelry was beautiful and looked of really high quality. Would recomend them.

I bought my wife a ring from here. The quality of the ring was excellent. The stone was the prettiest stone that I have seen for a Ruby in that setting. They had a great price on it and it was an excellent buy. I will go here again for more items as they are great people and they have all nice quality items.

I have been here one time, but the time I was there, the people were friendly and very helpful. I was looking for my wife a anniversary ring, and they were very informative on the different styles and such. I will definately go there again to look for different jewelry items.
