Over Priced I had a hot water heater replaced and they charged me over $2000 for the new heater. They gave me a cheap water heater probably cost $250 to $300 for the heater. They had to put in a tub that catches the water if the heater leaks and charged me all most $400 for that. They did nice work but way over priced. I could of had the same thing done from Lowes with a high hot water heater for half the price. Buyer beware.

Our builder recommended Tileworks for our new home. We had planned to check out a few other stores but liked everyone at Tileworks instantly and the showroom was fabulous! It had just been remodeled; it was huge and displayed all the latest styles and patterns. There were several work tables so we could layout our plans and work on selections. The Sales/Design staff was so friendly and knowledgeable my husband was even impressed. They spent hours working with us on tile designs for our master, kitchen, pool and main floors. They even created the designs (on paper) so we could hand them to our builder so everything was installed as we had in mind. It turned out beautiful! Our builder was right ?? Tileworks is the BEST!

Tileworks was a wonderful tile store to work with. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for and also made helpful design suggestions to aid me in my search for the perfect kitchen backsplash.

I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality service, high-end tile and affordable prices!

Tileworks of Tx on Metric at Rutland has beautiful products & excellent customer service. The price range is pretty good, not cheap, but beautiful products. I found a remnant of Caledonia granite in their slab yard for a bathroom vanity, had been looking for a year for a small piece, they installed it & I wanted it set back further after they completed the work & they returned free of charge & adjusted it. They let me have the sink cutout to make a small patio table top. They gave me beautiful tile samples as well. I went to many tile places, this is the best one & I go back often. Very attentive sales staff. Other tile places I visited had rude or terrible customer service.

I've had a granite sink cut-out in my garage for a few months then decided to have two small table tops made from it.I gathered several quote for the work ranging $50 to $100.With out even asking if they did the original work Tileworks was more then happy to do the work at a minimal price. Just a few days later they called and told me the tables were ready. Some of the other places said two to three weeks before they could have them done.Ruban carried them to my car for me and off I went. Couldn't have been any easier or affordable.

I've never written an online review before, but people need to know how great this place is. If you are doing any project, the great thing about Tileworks is that they have the largest selection for you to choose from and it's a one-stop-shop for all of the surfaces you are trying to cover. It makes it really nice and convenient to deal with one person and one business that can help you start to finish on the project. I really like doing business with them because it's locally owned and operated - these people are as "Austin" as you get! Tom at Tileworks helped me and he was such a great help. He answered all of my questions, even the really dumb ones, and I truly felt that I could leave the project in his hands and he was going to help me make selections and oversee the that best result came of it. I would recommend doing business with Tileworks 10x over to anyone!

If you are looking for quality customer service, a quality product, and professional installation, don't waste your time at other granite stores in Austin. The best decision I ever made!
They were very knowledgeable in tile, wood, countertops, both natural and manufactured. They offered great advice, competitive pricing, and quality work.

Pros: Pricing and Design Help

Cons: I wish they hade more locations

★★★★★

A knowledgeable staff that has been there for a while and will be there tomorrow when you need them. They were not the cheapest but were willing to be very competitive with the other bids that I got. I have heard horror stories from neighbors about their granite countertop experience, but Tileworks made it seem effortless. I got my wood floors, my kitchen floor and splash tile as well as all my countertops?they had granite as well as Corian and Caesarstone

Pros: One stop shop for my whole remodel

Cons: They don't install tile, but they did recommend a great contractor!
