I had the exact same experience as the reviewer below; the management is AWFUL. My rent has increased by 60% since I moved in 2 years ago (I finally was able to move out recently). They have "lost" packages delivered to the office and won't do anything except say they are not legally responsible, the maintenance is TERRIBLE now, as is the cleanliness of the complex itself- dirty hallways and light fixtures that fell off and broke sitting around for weeks.

I tried to transfer to a 2 bedroom with a friend of mine and they "accidentally didn't record anything in the system" which I found out when I went to sign my lease a week before my move, only to discover they had given the apt away and I had no where to live til they agreed to let me stay in my place because of their screw up.

Most recently, the autopay online for rent withdrew $1600 out of my account for rent when I was only staying less than a WEEK into the month (1600 is not my normal month's rent, let alone what someone should pay for 5 days), and I still have yet to get a refund because everytime I call they refuse to put the manager on and keep telling me "she will try and get that done today."

Ridiculous; do NOT spend your money here (or with any Greystar property).

These apts changed owners and management in late 2010. The new management is TERRIBLE AND NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

Their lease states they need a 60 day notice before the end of the lease of your intent to move. Yet,they did NOT provide me any notice of their 33% rent increase until nearly a week after I had to request the rent proposal letter. By then, it was too late to give a 60 day notice.

The old mgmt gave us the rent proposal letter 10-14 days before the 60 days from lease expiration. On the first lease with the new mgmt,I waited and waited and waited for this rent proposal letter .I expected a small rent increase like the last lease and was going to renew my lease.I finally contacted the office and was told they had put one on my door but the wind probably blew it away(my door is in an indoor hallway). I rejected this and they told me they would have a letter on my door that night. It finally was put on my door nearly a week later(Again,by now it was already inside of 60 days). Then i was SHOCKED to find out the rent was increasing 33%!!!. In talking to several other fellow tenants, they did this to them also. It became apparent that this was a conscious business tactic on their part to entrap you and get more $$$ if you do leave. Add this to their refusing to fix maintenance items despite several requests on my part and that was enough for me. I was fed up , I did not renew and got out of these apts as soon as I could.

The apartment itself is fine. But the management is very DEVIOUS so be careful if you do rent here. My advice: STAY AWAY. THIS MANAGEMENT/OWNERSHIP WILL SMILE AT YOU WHILE SCHEMING AGAINST YOU.
