I want to recognize Ed Cueto in the Service Department. I purchased new wiper blades for my 2006 Honda Civic this morning and attempted to install them myself. The job was more than I could handle and was advised to bring the car in and have the service department install the blades for free. I took you all up on the offer! Nothing against the guys and there were several of them who attempted to install the new wiper blades, but even they were running into difficulties. This actually made me feel rather good since I consider myself to be an above average person when it comes to working on my cars. After a few minutes Ed came over and diagnosed the problem with my blades. He quickly got the correct ones and installed them in a matter of minutes and explained to me why the ones I was sold did not work. He also advised me on what to do the next time the blades are replaced. I worked with Ed about a year ago on a repair for my Civic and he was very good then. I just want to let you know what a good guy he is and truly committed to excellent customer service. Even though I did NOT purchase my Civic from your dealership, trust me, when it comes time to get my next Honda, Penske will be the dealer of choice! Unfortunately this may be awhile, mine is a 2006 with 148,000 FLAWLESS miles, I plan to get about 300,000 or more out of it before I replace it. Those new CRX two door hybrids may force a change in my purchase decision though, they are really sharp! :)

There was NO pressure and he explained every step of the process to me and went over all of the details of the vehicle before I took it off the lot. The finance person was great as well. Purchasing a car from Penske/Dennis Hardy was a very stress free experience. No hidden agendas, thorough explanation of the vehicle, honest/upfront price negotiation. I had a brief interaction with Ed Martin Honda. Penske has clearly gotten the message on how vehicle sales should be done.

The only place I am going for service. My car is older, so they might tell me stop bringing it back, but they always deliver. I have complete trust in their service. Check out the oil change. I had been using the ""oil change in 10 minutes"" crap, paying 40 bucks. The bill stated the charge for the oil change was 30.00 and they inspected all kinds parts. It's the deal for sure. I wish I could buy one of the new ones they got there too. The new CR-Vs are big baller.

My experience as Penske Honda was phenominal. It was my 3rd car purchased from this organization and all 3 transactions were excellent! From the initial contact all the way through the financial process they exceeded my expectations. I would recommend them to all of my friends and family! Excellent service dept too!

I don't know how others have had such bad experiences, but my experience was great. I never felt pressured, my salesmen (plural! Bill and John are both great and answered every question I asked, and they also remember me anytime I come in) were very informative and offered great advice. I didn't feel pressured at all. I was getting a decent deal from them on my Civic Si, and I found a better price online. I walked back in after seeing this price, said this is the price I want, and the finance department gave them the green light. They also let me wait a few days before I gave them the down payment, to where I had my car DAYS before I expected to get it. I had it the same day I told them what I wanted to pay. This was my first new car purchase and it went as smooth as can be. There was a minor paint issue with my car, and the sales department paid for it and got me a rental!

I can't recommend Penske Honda enough! Don't let these other reviews sway you, as my experience has been excellent.

I test drove a Fit twice. Each time I had a different salesman. Both times I was treated sub-par. The first time, I explained to the salesman that I was new to the area, and needed him to tell me where to go. He just gave me the keys and showed me on my way. He did not get in the vehicle at all. That wasn't horrible, about a B- if I were to give him a grade. However, this past weekend I decided to give the car another try because the one I drove the first time hadn't been "broken-in." I had to go inside and ask for a salesman, even though there were plenty just standing around. This salesman was horrible and rude. As soon as he found out I wasn't buying that day, he could have cared less. He asked me what I did, and I explained I was an intern and a student and he said he didn't know what an intern was. I told him I worked 35 hours a week plus went to school full time and would be graduating in May. He said, disgustedly, "Oh, so you only work part time." He made my boyfriend sit in the back, when he was obviously trying to get in the front. The salesman did had me drive around the block, that was it. Some test drive. To show me the "quiet ride" he had me go over speed bumps (15mph). My 10 year old vehicle is able to go over those smooth and quiet. Not impressive. I explained what I liked about the other cars I test drove (Subaru Impreza and Mazda3) and he didn't try to sell the Fit at all. There are three reasons I think I was treated poorly. 1) I am young. 2) I was driving a car that is selling well. 3) I was driving an economy car. Penske Honda, you may want to remind your salesmen about brand loyalty, and that a Fit now can be an Acura later. I likely will not be buying a Fit, and whatever I do buy will not come from a Penske dealership if this is how they treat young customers.

Edit: This issue has been resolved. Management was very quick and helpful in rectifying the issue.

we have purchased several honda cars from this location. we made a huge mistake of purchasing our last honda from tom wood honda in anderson - we should have gone to penske... we will not ever buy from tom wood and will go to penske in the future - please don't make the same mistake we made

I originally purchased my Honda CRV from Penske Honda. Since then, I have taken it back to them for general maintenance. Calling them to set up an appointment is easy and I really enjoy interating with the service personnel. They are extremely friendly and helpful - just like they were a member of your extended family. Their waiting area is pleasant. There is a large color television, plenty of vending machines, and complimentary coffee and breakfast pastries.

When they need to speak with you about unexpected work, you are always approached in a very tactful, non-condescending way - something I appreciate very much. No question seems dumb.

If there is one thing I could change about their service is that their turnaround time on provided shuttle service would be quicker. Sometimes it take me about an hour to get to my destination due to the number of other people that have to catch a ride to their destination.

PROS: Friendly, courteous service personnel
CONS: Shuttle service
