Lara Metz (a nutritionist at Keri Glassman) changed my life and helped me lose almost 30 pounds. She gave me solid advice for eating right that never felt like a diet. Thanks to Nutritious Life, I've discovered healthy foods and recipes that I truly enjoy and will stick with forever, and I've gained confidence and an awareness of what I put in my mouth. I can't say enough positive things about the help and support I got from Lara....from texting her in the salad line to ask what to choose (ex. "beets are high in sugar, choose something else") to emailing her before a dinner and asking what to order (ex. "do not get the margarita if you want to eat chips"). The Keri bars they sell are delicious, too.

At 45 years old I no longer wanted to be overweight, sluggish all the time and at greater risk for a heart attack, cancer, etc. So after seeing what Keri did for my father, I called Nutritious Life and spoke with Daria. She encouraged me to come in and meet with her. In early February I met with her and she has helped me change my eating and exercise habits one baby step at a time - resulting in a 40 pound weight loss and a new found energy level and desire not to be a "couch potato." Daria has worked within my needs - work, family, going out, limited time to cook, vacations - there is always a plan and she guides me through it. When I go out to eat she helps me decide what my best choices will be. I am planing a week long vacation and she has already formulated a plan with me so I can enjoy my vacation and not stress about food or gaining weight. When I first met her she did not tell me - oh you have to exercise at least 4 times a week to lose weight - she asked if I could commit to 1 day for 30 minutes. I did, and now I have worked up to exercising regularly and enjoying it. When I have particular issues I email or call and I get assistance, guidance and encouragement. Daria provides me with a variety of food choices, introducing new things all the time and always lets me know where to buy things. The positives go on and on, there are no negatives....I look and feel like a new person; a better person.

Her clientele has grown so significantly that she has expanded her practice by adding several excellent nutritionists. I have been a client for six years. I have maintained my weight loss but continue to be advised by her because I enjoy the experience and always learn. Several people in my family and in my firm also use Keri. Her staff is great, but Keri is the original and the best.
