Beat the summer heat at Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark (located within North Charleston Wannamaker County Park). Attractions abound in lovely Charleston, where horse-drawn carriages clip-clop along the historic harbor. Tour Fort Sumter National Monument, where the Civil War began, and the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown. �Get a glimpse once �in a while of the C-17 aircraft and �the�Boeing�Dream lifter� make their way toward the Joint Base and the Airport near by.
