I called DRF on Tuesday, November 29, to make an appointment for getting a new Sump Pump and to investigate our hall bath toilet leaking/running. I wanted to be first on the schedule,for a day I was working at home and would be available. I also asked for a specific workman, Mr. John "X", because he had worked at our home before, was aware of how things worked, and was a good worker.

I had to wait for this timing opportunity to arise, and I anticipated this, and expected that a first appointment and/or this individual working on this job, and so they offered my Friday, December 9, first thing, with John "X". I was told that DRF staff would call me early that morning to advise me of his time of arrival. When I received the call, I was advised that I would get another plumber, and that I would be the LAST home on the schedule that day. This was COMPLETELY NOT what I asked for, and what we agreed to, and I had to WAIT for this privilege. I told the young lady who called me and said I was NOT good with this arrangment, and to go over this with their management and make good on their promise to send Mr. "X" first thing this morning. I got a call about an hour later, from a management individual at DRF Property Solutions, and said they unfortunately had Mr. "X" scheduled on a large heating job and would not be available, but they would send another technician out for the end of the day appointment.

I told this individual I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with this, and I would NOT accept this arrangement, and felt I was made to wait 10 days for a special appointment time for nothing, and I honored my part of the bargain, and now the sump pump and the toilet had further degraded, and were causing problems, and I had waited to satisfy THEIR need and opportunity to schedule this time for me. The gentleman from DRF said, "well, here was nothing they could do, and this was their plan, to send out this other guy at the end of the day. I told him no, to forget it, and that I was dissapointed, and would never use their business again, which I WILL NOT. The reason I reported this, is that I want it ON The Insider Pages RECORD that DRF did this, and I want the public to see this, so that they know that this type of poor customer service was a likely outcome, and it's only fair for potential DRF consumers to KNOW about this.

I am NOT asking for a specific settlement, since there is no viable settlement that could be given that would make up for this interaction. My goal is for Insider Pages to put this on their records for the public to see, when they decide to use DRF or not, so that they can make an INFORMED decision whether to use DRF or not. I never will again.
