I admit it. I have a pretty nice house. In addition to maintaining the inside, I have always paid attention to the aesthetics of the outside of the property. Every element, from the white picket fence to the trees and flower beds, combine to provide a very eye-pleasing scene. Everything, that is, except my old mailbox. It was one of those metal deals nailed to a pressure treated 4 x 4 with my name pasted to it. Sure, it was s functional but it didn't fit in with the rest of the exterior decor. It so happened that I was driving through a neighborhood that was just being built. It was upscale and they were installing brick pillar mailboxes. I don't know why I didn't think of it before. I jotted down the name of the masonry company, M & H and called them later that day. Amazingly, three days later, I was the proud owner of a brick pillar with an enclosed mailbox. That's right. They came, gave me a price, started and finished a quality job in three days. I can't say enough about the workmanship, timeliness and customer service of the people at M & H. I recommend them unreservedly.

When we bought this house, we thought that it was in excellent condition as it passed the inspection process with very little problem. But, after a couple of years in the house, it became evident that the people who owned the house before us had never done any type of maintenance on the chimney. We started having a leaking problem and knew we needed to do something before winter set in. I called a builder friend of mine and he referred me to a chimney rebuild Seattlecompany that he could vouch for personally. I can't say enough good things about the company I dealt with that day and in the future. First of all, the call was answered by a real person, not an answering machine. She was polite, answered my questions and set up an appointment for someone to come out and inspect the chimney. Then, they actually showed up on-time when they were supposed to. He took a look at the chimney, found the leak spot and wrote me out an estimate. I was so impressed with him that I accepted the estimate, which was reasonable, and scheduled a day that week for him to come back out and do the job. While the guy who gave the estimate was not the same person who did the work, I was just as impressed with the second person too. He was on-time, professional and kept his work area clean. He was able to fix the problem in one day and we've never had a single bit of leakage since that day. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has a chimney rebuild or repair problem here in S

We just bought our first home outside of Seattle. It is an older home so we knew that it needed a bit of work when we bought it. The chimney looked like it was falling apart and I was afraid that it was going to have to be totally replaced. I didn't know who to call so I asked a neighbor and they recommended this company. When I called I told them that I only have a short time span in which I could be at the house because I had to work. They gave me an appointment time that worked around my schedule but I was afraid that they wouldn't arrive on time. Not only did they arrive on time to do the inspection they were able to do a complete inspection in a short period of time so that I could go back to work. Just as I had feared the chimney needed a lot of repair. They told me about tuckpointing which is basically repairing the mortar in the chimney instead of having to build a whole new chimney. The cost was very reasonable and we set up another appointment to do the repair. When they came out to fix the chimney the staff was very professional and did a really nice repair job. The chimney looked almost brand new when they were done and they did not leave a mess. I would definitely use this company again since they saved me quite a bit of money. They could have told me that I needed a whole new chimney and charged me a fortune since I know nothing about chimney repair. Instead they did a wonderful repair job at a fraction of the cost.

I was so glad that I found good reviews of M&H Masonry online and hired them for my home's masonry job! Then after I called and made my appointment, I actually found out that one of my neighbors used them for their own masonry job too. I never had to worry about masonry before, so I was a little worried about what I would do when I realized that I needed my chimney rebuilt. One thing I knew was that I should rely on the professionals to do it, so that's why I let the folks at Seattle masonry handle it. We use our chimney a lot during the winter. I've always loved using a wood burning fireplace but realized that our home's chimney needed some real work. It ends up that completely rebuilding it would be the easiest way to solve our chimney problems. The workers for M&H Masonry were clean and took care to not get our home dirty as they did their work. I was worried about my beige carpet and there was no reason for concern! I would use them again because they did such a great job for a good price.
