We had a long day on the beach, and we were stuck in traffic along Ft Myers beach and I happen to see a little yellow sign, in the shape of a fish, stuck on top of a car. Sea Catch restaurant it said. So we stopped and turned into a little strip mall and drove up to the storefront. It didn't look like much from the outside. But if you love new england fried whole belly clams and fried fresh haddock sandwichs then stop and have lunch and dinner. The owner Debbie and her sister were the only two people in there when I peeked in and asked if I could come in wearing my beach ware. Debbie said come on in...your on ft. Myers beach its ok. Right from the start they made you feel right at home. We exchanged small talk of where we were from and then I looked at the menu and seen they had ipswich clams. OMG, I haven't had those since NY. long story short, the owner and her sisiter are great. The restaurant is very clean and quaint. Tables are comfortable. I ordered a pepsi. It came in a can and a large glass (not plastic) of ice came with it. When the food came out it fried light golden brown, I had asked for drawn butter and they made that special for me with no grunts or groans. The were happy that we loved our food and only wanted to make us happy. If you are in that area go see the girls from Mass. they know how to serve up a good time and some good new england seafood.
