I'm never in a good mood when I have to move, and I was especially bitter this time since I had got to move a few blocks away and I had no choice to call in for the movers because my friends were unwilling to help. But the movers from Express Van Lines arrived with a cup o' cheer for me, and got 'er done with no pain. I have a large pullout sofa that weighs a metric ton, which I thought had no chance of making it into my new place. I put my faith in the crew and they did not disappoint. I can say they are competent and will make short work out of your move. My only concern was that for some reason they did not accept card payment on that day and I had to go to my bank and get a cashiers cheque prepared for them . Overall the moving experience was good.

We used Express Van Lines to move from our old apartment to the new one and they were good. They even came and packed up all of our stuff and then put things into storage until we were ready to have it all moved it down. These guys were very responsive and had excellent customer service...and the price was just great. Everything was handled professionally and the 2 guys showed and proceeded to walk through the house to learn what was going and staying. I recommend giving them a call if you need to move!

Very reasonable prices, they do exactly what they say they will. They show up on time! They even made a side stop to pick up a piece of furniture from a third party. Highly recommended!!!

Okay, so I'm not one to just hand out 5 star ratings, but I have to say Express Vanline is the Absolute Best I have ever dealt with - and I have moved 5 times with movers.
The guys that helped move us were probably the nicest people I have met who truly understand the word "customer service." Polite, courteous, friendly and on top of their job - exactly what I expected and they delivered on every front.
We had a moving snafu, and they jumped on it with a solution that took them two extra hours - but never once complained and helped us come up with a plan to help fix our issue.
All of those factors make me want to give them 5 stars.

These guys were *amazing*. Spoke to George on the phone to arrange everything. Very professional, helpful, courteous. Even went by new address to scout out whether we would need a moving permit from police. Thank you, George!
Movers arrived on time and within an hr had everything packed up and ready to go. Not a scratch or ding or broken anything. These guys were cool and professional and with good senses of humor made it a fun experience if such could ever be said of moving.
To watch these guys haul boxes on their backs -- unbelievable. And so good humoured in spite of it! After dealing with a surly moving company previously who broke a third of our stuff, this was night and day.
If we ever need to move again, we know who we will call on.
George and his team rocked the party that rocked the party. You guys were AWESOME. Thank you!

Express Van Lines delivered our car along with our other belongings just a week ago. Everything is safe & without a scratch including our car. The whole thing cost us exactly the rate they estimated in the beginning. As all my things are now delivered safely, I can say that Express Van Lines did a successful move.

y ea, I am jumping on the 5 star bandwagon. These guys rocked. My move was painful to watch with two different apartments, both walkups mind you, moving across town into one place; but they did it without complain, were of good humor, and all my stuff survived intact! Highly recommend them. Its a fair price for someone you can really trust.

The crew was unbelievably helpful! They were professional and efficient. We still had a lot of our own packing to do and everyone was very patient. They made sure to check with us about every detail regarding our move. I have a big respect for all three men and their efforts.

When a company quotes a flat rate over the phone that is a lot less than the competition, my first instinct is to wonder what kind of scam that company is trying to pull.
I am SO glad I got past my initial cynical reaction because this company can't be beat. The movers were on time, wrapped everything in plastic to protect it on the drive to my new place, unpacked quickly, and even managed to fit one piece of furniture through a door that was smaller than the furniture. (Ok, the door wasn't really smaller than the furniture, but looking at the two, I would have sworn it wouldn't fit).
Everything was done quickly and there were no hidden charges.
I would have given Express Vanline 5-stars, but they did not bring the wardrobe box I had asked for and that ended up being a hassle for me.
All in all though, this is a great company and I would not hesitate to use them again.
Simply put: these guys ROCK!
Pointed here and there with a bit of direction and they were on it in no time. Who wants to pack and wrap then do heavy lifting? Perhaps if you're getting paid, but why not stimulate the economy and let Express Vanline do it?! They do it all.
I was a bit ravenous at the time so they said, "Sure, absolutely go grab a bite. We'll call you 5 min before we're done." Beautiful!
Will use again...again...and again!
We had lived in the same apartment for over 10 years, and was very nervous about moving. Hiring Express Vanline was the BEST thing I did. Other moving companies will give you a quote, then spring all kinds of surprises on you ("I didn't know you had stairs" or "I didn't know you had furniture.") George actually came by my apartment prior to the move, and gave me a true quote.
Come moving day, I was blown away by the professionalism of his team. They were fast, efficient, and careful. I had several delicate pieces of furniture, and everything came to the new house in perfect condition.
Express Vanline and their awesome team truly made my move much easier. I would give more stars if I could. Thank you George!
I had a tricky move from a large flat into a small apartment with a tiny elevator. I had tons of heavy boxes and a few pieces of heavy, delicate furniture. Express Vanline were very prompt, very attentive, very careful, VERY efficient, and the two movers that served me were VERY easy on the eyes! The stress level of moving went WAY down once they got to work.
Almost makes me want to move again...well not really, but you get the idea.
We had a great experience with Express Vanline. We used them to move all of my boyfriend's stuff from his apartment into our new condo about a week ago. They arrived right on time (actually, 15 min. early), and were extremely efficient and professional throughout. They finished the move in about 3 hours, and my boyfriend has a lot of heavy furniture. All three guys were really friendly, and they kept asking us where we wanted them to put things (instead of just dropping them wherever). Overall, they were great. We highly recommend them!
These guys are awesome! Tom was friendly, informative and responsive on the phone. They were available on my move date -- with less than 2 week notice -- and gave me great comfort in their knowledge of "what it takes." On move day they arrived on time, got cracking immediately, were friendly, took care in making sure that what need to be protected was wrapped with extra care... and worked like banshees!! I have a great respect for any movers -- these guys were strong, professional, skilled at their trade and tireless. All costs were well explained from the beginning. At the end of the day, I sat on my couch in my new home and breathe a sigh of relief and thanks. Satisfied customer. Thank you Nick, Jie and Roger! I'll definitely call Express Vanline next time.
