Best food in town\nFood is amazing. Every time I come here, I feel like I never want to leave. Very chic atmosphere with a relaxing mood.\nThe service is great and the staff really does a terrific job at taking care of you.\nThe appetizers are delicious.\nTheres plenty of places to park: theres a parking lot across the street and a parkin garage up the street within walking distance.\nMost of the time I find myself looking at my watch waiting for the food to come, but here I was so entertained with the fun atmosphere that I was pleasantly surprised when my food arrived\n

\nGreat authentic Japanese food here but they clueless staff have no idea what is good. Don't even bother asking them unless they are Japanese.\n\nThe American waiters who work here don't really know their stuff.\n\nThat said, still great food can be had here.

My favorite new sushi bar! The sexy roll and the teru roll are my new favorite things. Plus their patio outback is perfect, I highly recommend it.

we just had an early dinner at Kiwami (where Tama used to be). they really took care of us. the food was delicious. we started with this sashimi sampler that included those crispy spicy tuna cakes & blue crab roll. so good. had some Spanish mackerel (from Japan) and some Aji. washed it down with some Miso.\n\nwe will 100% go back!

I didn?t think that I could have better sushi than Katsu-Ya & Izaka-Ya. Surprise! Kiwame is a culinary event. From the Japanese style decor and delightful service, to the sake nesting in hot water filled pottery. The baby tuna (yeah, the name is a bit disturbing) is the best piece of fish I have ever tasted. The amazing confetti tempura was light and surprising. You can still have all the Katsuya faves but there is so much new goodness. Next time the privet sushi bar the chef himself works at. Absolutely worth a trip to Studio City.

Twice we have been hoodwinked! The first time there were some extra sakis on our bill. OOPS! \nThen we ordered to go food and they added an 8 percent gratuity....They don't give you an itemized list, just a bill with the total!! Make sure you ask for the list of food! I have found this in another sushi restaurant as well. since you (me) can't read Japanese..they figure you will never know!!!

My husband and I recently had dinner at Kiwami, and it's a fantastic new addition to our beloved ""sushi row"" (on Ventura blvd). We started with Blue Fin Tuna (flown in from Spain) $16, then on to Skip Jack Poke $9, Jalapeno Yellowtail $16, Unagi Shirayaki (first steamed, then baked) $10, Tasmanian Trout in foil $15, Mixed Tempura $16, Spicy Tuna with Baked Crab Roll $12. We loved EVERY BITE! Lots of photos on MyLastBite

I go once or twice a week and sit at the bar. Order a spicy tuna hand roll with avocado on soy paper, then order a baked crab hand roll on soy paper, then order the yellowtail. Next, try to remember three things you have eaten in a row in the past that could possibly compete!!!\r\n\r\nI don't go on Monday's as Richard the sushi chef is not there. He is THE MAN when it comes to sushi!\r\n

Just returned from dinner at Teru sushi, was a terrible experience. The server was rude, slow and didnt seem to care. Had to request help from manager several times and he made no apologies for the bad service. Ordered hot food as well as sushi. Hot food was bad and overpriced. Sushi was fine. Overall experience was bad and will not repeat and would not recommend. Way to many good choices out there to waste your time here.

I've been coming to Teru for over 10 yrs. The sushi is always top quality. Toro and hamachi is the best. Order the Yaki appetizer and grab a seat at the bar. Prices are not value, but anyone that knows sushi would agree you get what you pay for. Anyone that rates the sushi her avg or below avg doesnt know sushi or goes to sushi bars on sunday....

Went there on a Saturday night sat at sushi bar. Lively scene, not like a library like the more serious places. However, the fish was average at best. Requested ""omikase"", chef's choice. After the second course, the chef asked us to tell him what we wanted, indicating lack of interest, did not know what was good or just did not care. The toro and hamachi were the best, while the other fish was not of high quality. Would not recommend as other sushi places, including the all-you-can eat places (though not recommended), are almost as good.

we already know what kind of experience we're going to have when we have Masa serve us. anything freshly flown in from japan, anything new we haven't tried before and always the freshest quality. the best part about it: you can relax from your day, enjoy your conversation and don't have to think, you're always getting one amazing dish after another.

i was starving, we ordered a TON of sushi, and i could barely eat one roll... the fish didn't seem fresh, they had YMCA playing in the backround, which would have been amusing had the food been tasty... all in all it was not a good experience. i wouldn't recommend it, i found the seaweed to be ultra chewy. which for me- is enough to say ""oh no.""

My friend celebrated his birthday there tonight, and a few other buddies tagged along with us. Great food, very fresh and deliciously tasty (especially the spider rolls and the spicy tuna rolls, my favorites), and an awesome atmosphere with good crowd and service. Definitely one of LA's better sushi spots.

One of my favorites that rarely has an off night. The fish is always very fresh and the sushi chefs are friendly and helpful. The Unagi is particularly wonderful and always has the perfect texture and sauce. The yellowtail and spicy tuna rolls.. perfect.

Plain and simple, I love this restaurant. The atmosphere, the food, the people. Everything was fabulous. While visiting LA, Teru Sushi became the only place that I ate sushi.

This is where I go for sushi when I have guests or to meet business associates - I reserve My favotie Nozowa for my self... Always great sushi with a good slection and a fair price - service is good also.\nThe valet has yet to not recognise me and have my car ready seemingly before I am out the door.

Every time I eat here, I see someone famous. OK, so maybe I'm stretching the definition of celebrity (Joey Lawrence and his two brothers, for example), but, hey, if you want a sure-bet star sighting, Teru Sushi is the spot. The food ain't bad, either.
